The Sledges

In the southwest of New Caliber is a district of seemingly unending smokestacks, smog, and the sounds and smells of industry. The factory district of the city has grown exponentially over the last century. What began as a crafting district is now a sprawl of factories, sweatshops, and warehouses that is heavy in production, pollution, and labor. The Sledges mostly lay in the southwest of the city, and the billowing clouds of smoke that pour out from the giant chimneys of the district have become a symbol of the change that has come to New Caliber.
