Goblin Town
A sprawling slum on the eastern border of The Sledges, Goblin Town is home to most of the large lower class goblin population South End. They are not the only inhabitants, however, with hobgoblins, bugbears, and scatterings of others who would not be rented to in other areas. The multiple blocks of Goblin Town used to have other names, but they are now known only to city planners. The closely packed, shoddily kept buildings loom over everyone entering the district. All of the sprawl is run by slum lords and crime lords, all of whom ultimately either answer to or oppose the Merchant Lord, Boss Grazz . Conditions in Goblin Town are harsh and unforgiving. Crime is rampant, wages are low, and the district is dirty and overpopulated. The leaders of the town insist that these conditions just serve to encourage those there to work all the harder to get out. Few succeed.
