Empire Park

Established on the site of the final battle between the founders and the Yorland dragon Sikarr, the establishment of Empire Park has been called the true beginning of New Caliber . At the eastern end of the rectangular park overlooking Calibre Bay  is the statue of Vorbild, the golden dragon who gave his life in the battle for Caliber. The gleaming statue towers 150 feet over the park, making it the first thing most ships see of New Caliber. Empire Park is well kept, an oasis of nature in the midst of the world's largest city, and is very popular with many of the more nature-oriented races and professions in the city. It is by no means completely safe however, especially at night.
Across from the far western end of the park, at the entrance to the Business District of Highcourt , sits the Cathedral of Cuthbert. It is a towering marble monument of the Imperial Church of Thane dedicated to the memory of the paladin Solennia Cuthbert who gave her life to deal the deathblow to Sikarr.
