Corteis
The language of the nation of Corteso has long been commonly used by the southwestern nations of the Midlands. As sailors and traders, the language spread far, and is a common trade tongue, though not as prevalent as Helvenic or Korkuzese. It is now found in many nations of the Capriseaux Sea . It is also the language many Mer have learned in order to speak with the airbound people. Outside of linguistic scholars, few know that it was originally the language of the halfling people. Corteis can replace common for any character from Corteso, Teotzil, or the Capriseaux Sea.
