Tarnmuck Reach
Tarnmuck Reach, known as The Muck or The Graveflats, is a wasteland of shifting mud flats, brine-soaked earth, and decay. For many, the Reach is a forsaken Quarter of Awarth , where scavengers, outcasts, and desperate laborers scrape out a living amidst the filth. Makeshift settlements, Planktown chief among them, cling to stilted platforms and patched-up walkways, constantly at risk of collapse. Salvage and black-market trade guide its markets, representative of an economy at society's edge.
Demographics
Tarnmuck Reach is home to the outcasts, the desperate, and the stubbornly resilient. Muckers are an eclectic mix of scavengers, fisherfolk, salvagers, and laborers eking out a living in an environment shaped by mire and mud. Many are descendants of those abandoned to the Reach generations ago—criminals, debtors, or workers cast aside by Awarth’s relentless industrial progress
Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the Muck is a precarious, patchwork affair, shaped entirely by necessity and decay. Wooden walkways snake across the mud flats, constantly repaired to stave off collapse. Settlements cluster around slightly firmer ground or salvaged debris piles, while rope bridges and rusting scrap platforms connect these fragile outposts. Nothing is permanent here; the ceaseless pull of the mud consumes everything, forcing the Muck’s inhabitants to build, rebuild, and adapt endlessly.

History
Once a thriving, if waterlogged, stretch of farmland, Tarnmuck Reach was abandoned following the Big Boil, which turned its fertile soil brackish and unstable. Over the decades, the "frontier" landscape attracted those who wished to live on the margins of Awarthan society.
