The Blast is a world shaped by a sea of fire. Known as The Blasted Isles, the three islands—Awarth, Kaloch, and Holvyr —function as city-states, isolated from each other by a ocean of boiling water and oil. This fiery expanse, called The Blast, erupts erratically, making travel treacherous and cutting the islands off from each other and the wider world since the cataclysmic Big Boil generations ago.
