The Moor
The Moor is a ramshackle inn perched atop the skeletal remains of a grounded Dirigible in Brackenbridge. Serving as a beacon for wanderers and outcasts, it doubles as a sanctuary and a trading post for those seeking a brief reprieve from the harsh realities of life in Awarth. Its cobbled-together structure, illuminated by a forest of flickering lanterns, evokes a haunting yet welcoming atmosphere amid the mists of the Quarter.
Purpose / Function
The Moor offers safety and sustenance to travelers, scavengers, and outlaws seeking refuge from the rugged Brackenbridge terrain. It also acts as a makeshift marketplace where traders barter salvaged goods, charms, and whispered secrets.
Alterations
Over time, the inn has expanded with the addition of scavenged materials, including an observation platform and secret compartments for storing contraband. Lanterns of varying sizes and colors now hang from every beam and post, their light both a warning to foes and a promise of safety to allies.
Architecture
The inn is a patchwork of salvaged wood, metal, and tarps, all lashed together with rope and ingenuity. Its crowning feature is its lantern-lit deck, where guests gather under a canopy of rusting dirigible ribs to swap tales or drown their woes.
