Dreen Mallorn

Dreen Mallorn is a self-taught alchemist eking out a precarious existence in Tarnmuck Reach . A gaunt and solitary figure, he distills tinctures from the toxic sludge, algae, and fungi of the flats, producing medicines that heal, harm, or induce strange side effects. These concoctions are sought after by desperate muckers, scavengers, and even faction agents, despite their unpredictable nature.
Afflicted with a degenerative illness, Dreen’s alchemy is driven as much by survival as by his quest for a cure. His workshop, a ramshackle stilted shack on the fringes of Planktown, is crammed with glowing jars, bubbling vats, and samples of the Reach’s mutated flora.
Though he trades with The Vapor Trade, their interest in his research makes him wary. He also garners respect from The Pale Chain, who view his work as bordering on the mystical, though Dreen rejects such notions.
