The Gullet

The Gullet is a dormant Gree refinery turned sacred site within Greewerks in Awarth. Once a hub of industrial production, it now serves as a sanctum for The Boiling Choir.

Purpose / Function

To the Boiling Choir, the Gullet is the bridge between industry and divinity, between the The Blasted Isles and the The Blast. Followers believe that the Gullet’s ruin was not a failure of engineering but a reckoning sent by "The Vast One," progenitor of all the Greebeast.

Architecture

The Gullet’s cavernous interior is a ruin of rusting pipes, crumbling catwalks, and immense vats crusted with hardened gree residue. The air is thick with the acrid tang of brine and the lingering scent of burnt blubber. Dim light seeps through fractured lanterns, casting the room in a murky, greenish glow. Faint mechanical groans from the old refinery mix with the Boiling Choir's guttural chants, creating an unsettling harmony that resonates throughout the space.
