The Churn

The Churn is a titanic, partially submerged turbine nestled in the depths of Greewerks, its corroded blades slowly turning in the Gree-tainted waters of an abandoned refinery complex. Once the beating heart of Awarth's gree-processing industry, this massive machine now serves as a symbol of resilience, decay, and mysticism for the workers and mystics of Greewerks. Its rhythmic groans and churning waters echo through the Hold, creating an ominous soundtrack for the surrounding industrial sprawl.

Purpose / Function

To the people of Greewerks, the Churn is more than a relic of industrial ambition—it is a living monument to survival and transformation. For some, its steady rotation is a sign of resilience, a defiant reminder that even in decay, motion endures. For others, particularly The Boiling Choir, it holds mystical significance, its endless churn seen as a manifestation of the chaotic will of the Greebeasts.

The site is also a gathering place for workers and mystics, who come to make offerings, hold clandestine meetings, or simply lose themselves in the hypnotic rhythm of the blades.
