Note: Though much of David's story have been decided on and written out, there are still portions of David's story are not set in stone and are expected to change as time goes on. Don't expect what is written to be the finalized story until the author feels the story has been completed in a satisfactory way, in which case will be stated in a message that will replace this one.
Caution: This is by far the longest article the author has written, due to just how much development David as a character has and how much of the world basically revolves around him due to being practically the main character for the entire series. It's also mainly to keep track of important information for the author when he decides to work on other stories that may require information tied to David and/or his many journeys.
The following journey is planned to be fleshed out more.
When David was just a nine-year old kid, his village was attacked by the Wither. The village barely managed to chase it off, and his best friends
Emily and Andrew decided they wanted to go head to Diamond City, one of the four Cities of Harmony that watched over society, to ask them to bring aid to their village. He didn't want to, as his father had already announced plans to do just that, but Emily's mind was set. And so, he decided to go with them and make sure they wouldn't get hurt. By then, he had encountered
The Spectral Hero, and begun his training to become a hero.
Later on, he would encounter a man named
Lucian, who declared that he had created the Wither in order to build a new world, and that man wanted David to abandon his friends to become his apprentice. David refused, and would go on to arrive at Diamond City to meet his dad,
Joseph and inform him of Lucian's role behind the Wither. They would then head to Lucian's head fortress to begin the final assault to destroy the Wither and arrest Lucian. Joseph's friend, Jorge, fought against the Wither while Joseph protected David and his friends from Lucian, until they switched and Joseph fought the Wither, defeating it. Lucian dealt a finishing blow to Jorge, and David fought against him, but the young hero was defeated, and right as Lucian was about to land a killing blow onto him, Emily jumped in the way and protected him, taking the hit. Joseph fought off Lucian, and right as the knights arrived to take Lucian into custody, Lucian climbed to the top of his fortress and jumped off, leading the knights and commander of the raid and the protagonists to believe that he was dead. The three took care of Emily, but it was too late for Jorge, and he passed away. The group returned to
Blockfield, and David was grounded for a while for his reckless behavior, but had earned great respect from Joseph as a warrior, who began to train David to become like him.
Four years later, David became a recognizably heroic individual by the village, but one day, a war was declared between the four cities and the Purge Society, a massive nation made of illagers. The war had begun with the destruction of a village within the Diamond Kingdom known as Toffblock. A raid soon struck the village of
Blockfield, and David, Emily, and Joseph immediately fled the village before they could be captured by the general of the illagers, who went by General
Dakirus. David's mother was executed upon their escape, to David's horror.
David and Emily's feelings for each other had blossomed throughout the time they spent over the years, and along the way to Diamond City, David confessed his feelings to her, and she returned with her own, and the two became a couple. Along the way, they ran into Andrew after he and his family had moved out of Blockfield, and he joined their team.
Upon their arrival to Diamond City, it was revealed that little remained of the settlement, as the city had fallen to ruin upon being faced with the ongoing illager threat. Joseph took the kids and went onwards to Beacon City. Along the way, Andrew discovered that David was in a romantic relationship with Emily, of whom he had been in love with for years. This would cause much tension between the trio for days until Andrew challenged David to a fight and was defeated.
Upon the arrival to Beacon City,
Joseph and David were called to fight on the front lines during a raid by pillagers, and once the battle was over, they went to the head council to work out a plan to defeat the Purge Society. After said plan had to been to launch a full-scale siege upon the illager castle, David, Emily, and Andrew, along with many other scouts, were sent in under the effects of invisibility potions to scout the illager castle. Upon their feedback, a full assault was launched against the fortress, and many people were rescued from the castle, including David's own older sister, Natalia, of which many including him had believed to be dead for years. David would also rescue an allay from the fortress, one that would become his friend. David discovered a giant mech that had been built by imprisoned redstone engineers from the conquered Red City. This machine was the
Blockbuster, and it was the illagers' ultimate weapon to destroy Beacon City. General Dakirus activated the Blockbuster and made their way towards Beacon City, being chased by Joseph and Andrew, while David and Emily ascended the illagers castle.
Once the pair reached the top level of the castle, they came face to face with the leader of the illagers that had been behind the war and discovered that it was none over than Lucian, who had faked his own death years ago. David attempted to defeat Lucian, but was disarmed. But before Lucian could kill him, Joseph appeared and tried to convince the leader to stand down and turn himself in, revealing that he had discovered how Lucian had turned
Astrid into his own personal warlord. Lucian betrayed his brother and killed him, causing David to lose control of himself and fight once again to defeat Lucian, and had to use the Spirit of Hope to defeat the madman, though he was calmed down by Emily before he could take his life. Then, the knights and commander of the raid broke into Lucian's chambers and arrested him.
After some time, Emily revealed to David that she had to leave Stonewall to pursue education in Red City, and so they broke up. David, having felt he had truly lost everything, rejected the Spectral Hero and lost contact with him. Natalia, who had made her one promise to her father that she would look after David, came to him as he was crying, and lifted him back onto his feet reassuring him that she wasn't leaving without him. David would also be met with the allay he had rescued, who would become a beloved companion of his. After coming to the decision that they could no longer stay at Stonewall with all the heartache, they departed. And so began their new adventure.
Two years after embarking on his new journey, David encountered a dark knight named
George that had a Structure Block in his possession, who then used the block to transform him into a spider before he disappeared. David, now trapped in the body of an arachnid, was forced to learn to control his new body. After initially being attacked by his sister before his allay, named Emily after his ex, identified him as David, the group set out in an effort to find and stop this evil fiend from collecting the four Structure Blocks, encountering a couple members of
Joseph's old team, the Star Squad, who had slain the
Enderdragon decades ago in the process. Their journey led to them getting captured by one of the griefer pirate gangs formed in the aftermath of the fall of TN-Town during the Purge War. The leader of this pirate gang was
Satasha, the daughter of the former dictator of TN-Town, who planned to sell David's companions off for a profit, well aware of some of their high price as members of the Diamond Kingdom royal family. Due to David using his changed form to his advantage, he managed to rescue his team and they escape and continued on their journey.
The team located a great monument called the Tower of the Aether, found George and fought against him. David, now used to moving around with his unnaturally-attained body, managed to work with his friends and confronted him, but not before George used the power of the four Structure Blocks to create a
Command Block. Wielding its power, he attempted to use it to spawn an enderdragon for himself to defeat, but ended up being transformed into an enderdragon himself. It was then that Natalia swiped the Command Block just before George could change himself back. The group fought with everything they could to keep George at bay, and they eventually managed to wear him down. They used the power of the Command Block to have David regain his true form. The Tower of the Aether began to shudder violently, and George revealed that the disappearance of the Structure Blocks would lead to the collapse of the tower, as its wellbeing was tied to the machines.
George mocked the heroes at the prospect of their impending deaths. In a fit of anger, Natalia struck the corrupted dragon-knight, killing him, as the tower began to crumble. TNT traps ignited and began to blast the tower apart as they began to climb down the tower. David, filled with a desire to keep his sister away from him for her own safety, used a pair of elytras to flee. Once David had landed, he was far separated from his sister, although his allay would soon catch up with him. David began traveling across the surface of the world, searching for his purpose while struggling with his own inner demons.
Two months later, he learned of an impending war between the Overworld and the Nether and took it upon himself to stop it. He returned to the Diamond Kingdom and managed to gain an audience with the Queen when he revealed himself as the son of Prince Joseph. He promised the Queen and the council he would bring an end to the war if they allowed him. While the council disapproved, the Queen put her trust into her grandson, and gave him all the information he needed to negotiate with the leader of the Piglin, as well as permission to enter the Nether, as long as he didn't get caught. And so, David went into the Nether, determined to prevent more deaths as he snuck through Piglin bastions.
He went on to investigate the structures of the Nether before he was eventually captured by the piglins and taken to one of their bastions and tossed into a jail cell. It was then that he came face to face with Satasha once again, who had also been imprisoned along with her pirate gang during their search for treasure. It was then that they learned much about each other and their views. David and Satasha begrudgingly had to put their differences aside to work together in order to plot an escape. David used his unique ability to transform into a spider to fool a piglin guard into releasing him and then knocked them out in order to let Satasha free, who then freed her fellow pirates. The two then went their separate ways with unspoken mutual respect for each other.
David made it into the Master Fortress and snuck his way into the throne room of the Kingchief Poinkno. The Kingchief's royal guards rushed to attack him, but were halted by Poinkno, who allowed David to stand before him. He told David how he was aware of assassination plots against him, and he was surprised that the humans would send a child to do the deed. David told him he had no plans to kill him, but Poinkno refused to believe him. The Kingchief told him of all the mistakes the humans had made, especially when the first human that had entered the Nether had destroyed one of his bastions in their search for components to build a Wither. David realized there was no way he could talk the Kingchief out of this war, and so he knew the only option was to force his surrender. With his weapon in hand, he challenged the Kingchief to a duel.
Poinkno was a powerful foe who used his overwhelming power advantage over David to force him to be defensive, and David was defeated, until he used the Spirit of Hope to give him strength. He became faster and stronger and had enough pain tolerance to finally overcome the kingchief, only for it to be revealed that Kingchief Poinkno also wielded the ability to use the Spirit of Hope, and so David had to use his wits and skills to finally defeat the piglin leader. David, in a bid to win over the support of the piglin, spared Poinkno his life, and they began to negotiate. It was then that David had learned that Poinkno had gotten the wrong idea of humans when the man that he found out was Lucian had entered the Nether in search of wither skulls for when he would spawn the Wither had killed many piglins along the way. David told Poinkno how Lucian was an especially horrible person and did not represent humanity as a whole. Poinkno, having given respect towards David from their battle, decided that he would not declare war on humanity and would release all the humans that had been captured by his warriors, under the condition that humans do not enter the Nether under any circumstance. David promised he would send his terms to the queen of Diamond Kingdom and left the Nether to head towards the Queen's palace.
Hearing David's story of the pig people of the Nether and how their leader had planned to declare war on humans and how David had convinced him to be open to negotiations, the council worked to discuss as the Queen gave her thanks to David.
Soon after, he encountered a girl who introduced herself as
Lisra. Much to his surprise, Lisra questioned if he was indeed the hero that was to oppose a great evil in the future. Taking his surprise as confirmation, she then revealed that she was the one who had set the Piglin against humanity. Although he had a crush on the girl, David knew he had to bring this woman to justice, and so he chased after her for several days. Lisra would tease him and further agitate David as every time he got close to catching her, she would pull underhanded tricks to get away, which would often include flirting with the teenaged hero to catch him off guard as she broke away. David would eventually exhaust himself to the point of fainting at night, to which he would be rescued by Lisra and then begin to trust her.
Lisra would end up bringing David to a hidden clan of people known as the
Sapia, a people who were devote worshippers of the Creator and the Patron. She revealed that she was a lorekeeper of the Sapia, and that it was her path given to her by the Patron to find the hero that would oppose the Great Evil and to bring them before the
Elder Lorekeeper. David, more curious above all else, listened to her and went before the elder, to which he was asked many questions regarding his morals and his backstory. The Elder Lorekeeper would then verify that he was in fact the chosen knight of the Patron. David was then given tattoos to show his status as the hero and then sent with Lisra to seek out the
Grand Sword, a legendary blade capable of smiting darkness itself.
Finally, David and Lisra arrived at the temple that housed the tomb of the mortal
Steven. It was here that David had to go through many different trials in order to prepare himself for the responsibility of being the one true hero of the Overworld. After he completed them, the way to the sword was unlocked. David reached for the legendary sword, and held it in his hand, and was then suspended as the spirit of the sword dragged him with it and entered the realm of his mind. David was acquainted with the spirit, and learned that they were previously a being known as
Herobrine, but now dwelled within the sword to ensure that none who would use the sword for evil would be able to. David had to prove himself to the spirit that he was worthy of wielding it, ending with a duel against it, and then was given the right to hold it. He returned to his body, and raised the sword, officially being recognized as the True Hero of Minecraftia. Lisra, expressing the guilt she had felt over past actions, allowed David a chance to bring her to justice, although David decided to give her a second chance. In gratitude, Lisra gave him her farewell and left, ending their encounter with a parting kiss on David's cheek, stunning the hero, as she returned back to her people after having accomplished her divine mission. David soon had a vision and saw his master, the Spectral Hero, for the first time in years, who said that David had done well to prove himself a true knight and defender of the people, and that he would continue to train him once again.
Another month later, David and his allay found their way back to the Diamond faction territory, where he was confronted by a bounty hunter named
Todd Borou, who had been hired to capture him. David managed to barely elude capture with the surprise help of Satasha and her bandit gang and fled. David would also encounter a young boy all alone named
Donald and decide to take care of him.
Two weeks later, David was fighting against a pack of monsters when he got hit hard in the head by the fist of an enderman, knocking him unconscious. The next time he awoke, he was resting in a bed. He had amnesia and couldn't remember anything from before aside from his name. He learned that he had been rescued from an underground cave and was in a village called
Visinfeld Village He was greeted by his allay. He encountered the village's inhabitants and grew especially close with one of the town's tree cutters who was also his caretaker-
Amy.
David used his combat capabilities to defend the village from a raid by monsters from the forest, drawing the attention of the Children of the Night. A couple days later, the village was attacked by the mysterious group. David fought and defeated The Children, and became the hero of the village. He and Amy were in love with each other, and began dating.
Years later, David and Amy would have a son named Thomas. Throughout the years, he would encounter Herobrine multiple times, although he would be unaware of the being's identity or history with him due to his amnesia. More and more raids by The Children would happen, but David and the villagers would fight them back every time. Amy eventually gave David her necklace as a momento for him to always feel her with him. Years would pass.
One day, right after David defeated the Children of the Night once more, he noticed the white-eyed man once again. The man guided him to ruins that warned him that the world he lived within was not reality, and that he was trapped within a dream before vanishing once again. David was shocked at this revelation and forced to come to terms that everything he was experiencing was a false reality. He was hit with sadness as he came home to his wife and child. A few days later, he dreamt of a familiar voice speaking to him. The voice revealed that he was David, the chosen knight of the Patron, and a hero to the people, who was trapped within a world built by his imagination and influenced by a terrible evil. In order to escape, he would need to defeat the dream manifestations of the demons that haunt him. He learned that these very demons would only appear on the next raid, and he had to defeat them before the raid ended, otherwise he would forever be trapped in this world.
When the next raid came, David searched the battlefield for the manifestations of his own demons, and fought against his fears, his hatred, and his grief. From their defeat, he would be challenged by an amalgamous entity known simply as The Terror, who fought the hero in a vicious battle, although David would come out on top. In an act of desperation, The Terror tried to stop David from breaking out of his coma, reminding him of the life he would be giving up and all the lives he would be destroying. Through the pain, David struck the monstrous entity down, and the next day, David was alone with his son before things began to change. David could feel himself beginning to awaken. With sadness filling his face, held his son close as the boy whimpered, assuring them that they would never be apart, giving the boy hope that it wouldn't be the end. After that, he noticed Herobrine watching him and the two left the dreamscape together.
David awoke in the bed of a mysterious cabin in the middle of nowhere, with no one in site, even his allay seemingly nowhere in sight. He noticed the necklace around his neck and held it, remembering the life he had lived and lost, realizing that he was now once again a teenaged boy and on his own. Clutching the necklace, he promised himself he would live on for the family he had lost. In the distant fog, he would see the spiritual remnant of Herobrine before he vanished into the Grand Sword. Eventually, his allay and Donald would reach him.
A few weeks later, David would be captured once again by Todd Borou, and taken to the Diamond Kingdom, where he would be delivered before his client, the Queen. The Queen then would reunite him with Natalia, as per Natalia's agreement with the Queen required. The three headed off together at last, with great reluctance from David. Natalia convinced David to share his inner demons with her and let her help him. He begins to cry and vents everything that's been haunting him for years. Natalia listened and comforted him, and promising that she would stay with him to the end. David would feel better from this, though still scared of what the future held.
One year later, he had a dream of a red-eyed menace bringing an end to the world, and the Spectral Hero confirmed that it was a sign that Entity 303, the bane of Minecraftia, had risen. And so, David, Natalia, and Donald left on their horses on a journey to find Entit 303 and stop him. After a long adventure, they arrived at Red City to find out that the menace was there as well, trying to steal the Command Block to use for his plans, and they all challenged him, but after an intense struggle, the three were ultimately defeated. Just before Entity 303 managed to land a killing blow on David, Emily the girl saved him, allowing David to recover. But Entity 303 stole the Command Block and abducted Natalia before escaping, causing David and Donald to have to change their plans and continue to search for him, Emily tagging along with them out of nostalgia for the past travels together with David. The three found Entity 303 and his sister in a temple, where he was among a cult known as the
Ender's Eye, and David and Donald challenged the menace again and they managed to defeat him, but not before Entity 303 used the machine to resurrect
Null, who then was merged with Entity 303. 303, now having the powers of Null, opened a portal that spanned time and jump through. David and Emily the girl followed after him while Donald and Emily the allay tended to Natalia.
David and Emily chased Entity 303 through different eras, first ending up in an era many decades in the future, where they learned that somehow, Lucian had returned, and ruling the world with an iron fist. David encounters Emily the allay in this era, who had survived through the passing of the ages and was ecstatic to see her old master again. The heroes continued to chase Entity 303 while Lucian, upon learning of the time traveling pair, sent his right-hand man,
Coven, to confront them. David fights and manages to overcome Coven, allowing the heroes time to confront Entity 303 before he escapes with Coven. Lucian's intentions to use Entity 303 as a superweapon against the rebellion of this era become clear, and David and Emily end up having to join the rebellion in order to have the supporting force David needs to rush Entity 303. After one more fight against Coven, David confronts Entity 303, who uses the now fully-powered Command Block right as David appears to summon and consume the Null of this era, giving him full control and the power of two Nulls. He uses the Command Block to open a new portal through time and enters it, followed close by David and Emily.
The three end up hundreds of years further in the future, in another era where Lucian has mysteriously retained in power despite being so far in the future that no one else from their previous journey was around. This time, the nation of
Noano had Lucian as their President, a concept the two only knew existed in their world because it was a system that the Redstone faction had in place in their world. Lucian, soon to find out once again of these familiar time travelers, sent his new apprentice,
Azren, to confront them. David fought with what he could, but Azren proved to be too powerful and cunning an opponent for him, and he was defeated by Azren after having his leg severed by the warrior. The two were captured and brought before Lucian. Lucian expressed his desire to turn David into his new apprentice, of which David rejected fiercely. Lucian ended up forcing him to obey him through threats against Emily, turning David into his own mercenary to be used against anyone who would threaten Lucian's rule.
David would do what he could do ensure the job was done for Emily's sake, but also do what he could to ensure his victims would survive, refusing to kill as many people as he could. He was noticed by the people who rebelled against Lucian's rule, seeing his death as a blow to Lucian. And so, during a job, David was challenged by an Illager named Tulis, who held the very sword that David himself had wielded-the Grand Sword. Shocked by this, David struggled against this opponent, who was determined to defeat him. He had to rely on his tools to escape the opponent, badly injured and beaten as he returned to Lucian. Lucian was furious that David could not kill Tulis or at least bring him before him and gave him an ultimatum, presenting one of the rebels David was meant to kill and ordering David to kill him, bringing out Emily to threaten harm to. David, faced with an immediate pressure to make one of the hardest decisions of his life, raised his sword against the rebel, but refused to strike him down, much to the anger of Lucian. Knowing that the girl was the biggest persuasive measure for David, Lucian sent her away and put his focus on trying to break David down even more.
During the following night, a sudden massive-scale attack on the base allowed David and Emily the chance to escape, but David chose to stay, to deal with Lucian. He stood before Lucian and challenged the tyrant to one final battle, of which Lucian was more than happy to accept. The two fought with ferocity, but it was clear that no matter how much David had trained, Lucian had significantly more time to train. David relied on the Spirit of Hope to gain an edge against Lucian, but even so could not overcome him, and was worn out. Just before Lucian could capture him once again, Tulis, the Illager Hero, had appeared to rescue David. Tulis was about to challenge Lucian when Azren appeared, and the two instead fought each other, though Tulis refused to attack the general, eventually wearing him down after voicing his beliefs that the general wasn't as evil as he had been led to believe. David, back in action, attacked Lucian once more but was taken out of the fight quickly before Tulis picked up the fight. As Lucian began to win, David made his way to the Command Block that Lucian had boasted over using, though Lucian caught on to his actions and threw a sword that pinned David's arm against the wall. Lucian would be betrayed by Azren, who used the Command Block to erase Lucian from existence, to David's relief.
David and Emily were now free of Lucian's grasp, and now had support from the rebellion, as well as Tulis, and so David focused back onto his mission, which was finding and defeating Entity 303. He gained a prosthetic leg from the Sapia from this era, and with their help, they found a fountain that welled with power, and found Entity 303 within it, now fused with the Null of this era. He had been waiting for the heroes, gave them the honor of knowing his true name, which was
Malrus, and challenged them. David, Emily, and Tulis fought with everything they had, though Malrus was unlike any opponent they had fought before, wielding the dark power of three Nulls. Despite this, Malrus was overcome and weakened significantly by the use of the two Grand Swords and the Hope Bow, and ended up having to open a new portal across time.
(The next journey is planned to have more content, but for now there isn't much to the storyline)
The heroes and villain traveled far across time to an era this time in the distant past-this time in an era where
Steven, the hero of light, existed. David and Emily once again lost Malrus, but found Steve and his friends after the Grand Sword was able to track a second instance of itself held in Steve's hands. David was surprised to encounter the living mortal form of the man his master was originally. He revealed that there was a dangerous entity they were searching for, of which Steve offered his help as long as the two helped them in defeating
Herobrine. David accepted the offer, and the group traveled the land.
At some point, the group find Herobrine and battle through his army of mobs, as Steve and David face off against Herobrine himself. Herobrine is able to handle Steve, but finds challenge in facing the experienced warrior that David is, despite him only being two years older than Steve. He is stunned by one of
Alexandra's spectral arrows, and defeated by Steve's sword. Happy to have completed his mission, Steve and his group agree to help the two defeat Malrus. The group travel to the End, to find Malrus having devoured the Null of this era. Malrus, now with the power of four Nulls, used this power to project four versions of himself to fight David, Emily, Steve, Alex, Howard, and Joey. With two sets of the Grand Swords and the Hope Bows, it became clear that Malrus couldn't defeat them, and immediately retreated through another temporal portal. David and Emily bid the group farewell and went through the portal.
(The following story is expected to be fleshed out significantly more)
They ended up in a new era of the past, taking place seemingly hundreds of years before the previous era they were in, when there was only one kingdom to rule the Overworld. David and Emily realize that Malrus has taken control of the King of Minecraftia, and plans to execute the prince and princess, and so they rush to protect them, being forced to take them away and be labelled as abductors of royalty. With the kingdom hunting them down, David, Emily, and the prince and princess hide in a place where they won't be easily found. The princess ends up falling for David, much to the dismay of Emily, and the love triangle ends up bringing David and Emily even closer. The two-while disguised-attend a party with the prince and princess, hoping that the prospect of the two royalty would bring them to Malrus, and share a romantic dance as David shares some of the burdens he's been forced to carry as the chosen hero. Emily comforts him and reminds him that through all of their struggles, she's still with him and doesn't plan to go anywhere else. This comforts David, but before long they discover the prince and princess are both missing and search for them.
The heroes discover that the royalty were taken by the King's men, and sneak their way to the castle, through the place before they find the prince and princess once again, both of which were very relieved to see them. The two royalty are taken to the King's chambers where it is revealed by the King-possessed by Malrus-that it is through the deaths of all the leaders of Minecraftia that the following despair and fear will allow Null to rise, and cloud the land in darkness. Just as the King's guards attack the two, David and Emily show themselves, as Emily fires a spectral arrow from the Hope Bow at the King. The holy light from the arrow causes the spirit of Malrus to flee from the King in agony, and the King regains his mind and orders his guards to cease their attack. The King commends the bravery of David and Emily, as well as his children for their willingness to put themselves in such danger to save him from the monster that had controlled him. It is through the King that David discovers in the era they exist within does not have an End dimension, and so there was no options left for Malrus to resurrect the Null of this era. They realized that in Malrus's rush to flee the light, he had abandoned the Command Block, and it was finally in the heroes' possession.
As David and Emily left the castle in the night, they were visited by the ghostly visage of Malrus who, with the four Nulls, now towered above them at twice the height he was originally. He commended the clever minds of the two and states that even without the power of the Null from this world, he still had the power he needed to bring an end to the world. Malrus declared his intentions to do exactly that in the next world, but decided that he would give David the honor of having a chance to fight him before he did so. David accepted the challenge eagerly and promised that he would defeat Malrus, whom had departed with a booming laugh.
David slept and through this sleep, he underwent one final battle against the Spectral Hero to demonstrate to the Patron that he had become the true hero the Patron had hoped he became. The battle ended with David choosing to spare the Spectral Hero from a killing blow. Proud of the warrior and the hero that David had become, the Spectral Hero voiced his pride in the young knight, but also revealed a terrible truth. That upon the defeat of the Nulls that would come in the approaching final fight, they would unleash a death curse upon the one who would land the finishing blow. David would have to sacrifice himself to defeat Malrus and the Nulls he held possession of. With this lingering in his mind, the Spectral Hero promised that if David were to complete his mission, he would be immortalized in history as the greatest hero in the Patron's mind.
David awoke, and they used the Command Block to create a portal to follow Malrus-this time once again to the distant past, to an era in which the world was in its infancy. The world of Minecraftia was now a plot of land hovering over an endless but clear Void. They stood before Malrus, who looked out beyond the Void. He explained that the reason it was clear was because they were in an era before any kind of life had existed, and that Null was a product of all the negative emotions that life forms produced. Because there was no life, there was no darkness, so there was no Null. Malrus explained to David that he was originally a virus that was injected into the video game they all reside within, a virus that was created with one mission: to destroy the game. He pointed out the similarity between himself and David, how the two were simply 'following their programming,' of which David vehemently denied. Malrus explained to David how he had initially tried to destroy the world when he first walked the Overworld, but only had the power of one Null to use, and that he was ultimately destroyed and sealed by the spirit housed within the Grand Sword, the spirit of
Herobrine. Malrus then vowed to David that when the hero fell, he would use his power to annihilate the world where they stood, which would bring an absolute end to all worlds that came to be. David reaffirmed his promise to destroy Malrus. Emily stood by David, her Hope Bow ready, as David charged the virus. An intense battle ensued, with Malrus using the powers his Nulls granted him in full effect against David, while Emily shot him with spectral arrows to stun the menace. Several well-aimed arrows and devastating blows from the Grand Sword later, Malrus was knocked down, and David lunged to land a finishing strike onto his chest, bringing an end to the villain. Malrus stood and praised David's strength and perseverance, and complimented his power as a human groomed by a god to achieve his task, but promised him that this would not be the end of his plan to destroy the world. As Malrus perished, he unleashed the four Nulls, who were fused together into a single massive bestial form and were now ecstatic to no longer be under the control of Entity 303, and sought to bring chaos to this infant world. David attempted to attack them, but was blasted away from their attack and knocked unconscious.
In the dream world, David encountered the spirit of his father, who expressed his pride in his son having surpassed him. Joseph gave him his strength and encouraged his son and to use his power with the Grand Sword. David, happy to know that his father was rooting him on, awoke and pushed himself out of the rubble. He grabbed and threw an axe at the Nulls' tail, causing the evil gods to roar in pain as he drew his sword and shield. David shouted his final words of determination against the Nulls as he and Emily stood against them. David rushed at the Nulls against overwhelming odds, and Emily would use the Hope Bow to hit the Nulls' weak spots in order to leave them open to David's continuous attacks. When the Nulls would attempt to crush David, he dug into the ground and would attempt to stab their hand, until the Nulls grabbed ahold of his shield and crushed it. David would jump onto the back of the Nulls and be attacked by their tendrils of dark energy, of which he would sever many of until he was grabbed by one and rescued by Emily's spectral arrows.
This continued until the Nulls ran out of steam and collapsed to the ground. Emily took the moment to celebrate their victory, but the fall was a ruse for the Nulls to charge at Emily. David realized this and immediately ran to protect her, utilizing the power of the Spirit of Hope to give him strength as he stabbed the Grand Sword into the head of the Nulls. It was a great struggle of which David had to endure not only physically, but also on a spiritual level, as he was forced into a final confrontation with the inner demons that had haunted him for so many years. Emily, once over her shock, rushed to help David, helping David by pushing the Grand Sword with him deeper into the head of the Nulls. She felt the Spirit of Hope's power coursing through her body, and voiced words of encouragement. David noticed the spirit of his father help them push the Grand Sword, and right when they were about to finish the Nulls, David remember his master's words about the death curse of the Nulls, and shoved Emily away as he yelled and buried the Grand Sword up to its guard into the head of the Nulls. The Nulls yelled in pain before exploding into nothingness.
Emily and David were happy now that they had finally defeated Malrus and the Nulls, but Emily was quick to see something was wrong with David. David lost the strength to stand and had to rest against a wall. She asked what was wrong and it was then that David told her the truth of how the one who landed the finishing blow onto the Nulls would perish. Realizing that was the reason for him pushing her, she was horrified to know that David was now dying before her, and began to cry. David told her that she had made this journey 'fun' for him, just as their journeys as children had been for her, and thanked her for being there for him, apologizing that he could not be with her to the end. With Emily holding onto him with her eyes full of tears, he promised her that whatever happened to him, he would always cherish the times he shared with her, and then faded from existence. With much sadness, Emily used the Command Block to return to her own world without David.
David's spirit would meet with
Searhia and
Constros, the goddess of the seas and storms and the Life-Giver respectively, where they would recite the
End Poem to him, allowing his spirit to be at peace in his final moments.
A year after Entity 303 had risen and been defeated by the heroes that traveled through time, the Patron saw Emily continuing to grieve, and chose to bring David back by allowing his spirit and body to respawn. Emily, during the emotional reunion, discovered a terrible truth-that while David had remembered everything that had happened leading up to him and Emily meeting up for the first time a year ago, he had no memories of the events that unfolded during their journeys across time. David treated Donald as a brother and hoped to one day find his sister as she had left shortly once the ordeal from a year ago had passed.
David continued to be tormented by dissatisfaction as he felt he had yet to achieve his purpose, yet was told by his friends that he had done so. Two weeks later, he decided he had to search for his master, and find out everything that had happened from him. And so, with Donald and his wolf, David embarked on his next journey in search for the Altar of Knowledge, a structure he had learned from the village elder,
Alexandra, that was said to give those who found it access to any kind of knowledge.
(This story is planned to be more fleshed out in the future)
While traveling, David came to see a familiar face in
Lisra, of whom he was alarmed to see having befriended an enderdragon named Draco. Lisra offered her services to be the guide for him to find the Altar of Knowledge. He accepted and the two joined their group, bringing them along as she headed for the Altar. The two ended up falling for each other, and nearly finalized their romance with a kiss, but David backed out, still too focused on trying to get back his missing memories and unwilling to have a romantic relationship. David also learned from Lisra various things regarding enderdragons, such as them recognizing their own status as boss monsters and their love of battling against powerful warriors.
David and co entered an underground ancient city that was guarded by sculks. As they passed through, they triggered the sculks enough for a warden to appear. Knowing that this would be a deadly foe to contend with, they opted to sneak past it, however Donald was caught and David tried to fight the warden off, but wasn't strong enough to face the monster, causing the team to be forced to flee while the dragon distracted it. The second time, they attempted to get past the warden by building a bridge across the biome, which was a success until David was knocked off by a flying bat, forcing him to be separated from the group as he snuck through the structure. and David found and entered the chamber that held the Altar of Knowledge.
It was here that he witnessed and experienced the full story of what had happened when he and Emily had traveled through time, and he learned of his romance with her that they had experienced throughout their journey, as well as his master acknowledging him as his true successor, his time spent traveling the world with Steve, his struggles against Lucian and his enforcers, and his confrontation with Malrus and the Nulls. He witnessed himself dying in Emily's arms. He also learned that his master had discarded his physical form and resumed being the Patron of Minecraftia upon David's success. He then reexperienced the
End Poem being told to him by Searhia and Constros.
Now, with the full story, he had realized Emily's grief and was compelled to go back home to see her. Believing his love for Emily to be more genuine, he knew that he and Lisra could no longer be romantic together, and the two wished each other well and went their separate ways. Once he and Donald arrived back at Stonewall Village, he greeted Emily with a kiss, Emily being truly happy once finding out he came back with memories of them. David held on to what the two godlike beings had told him during the End Poem and strove to move past his previous trauma to become a better person.
Three years later, David would discover his passion in life and build a ranch on the outskirts of Red City to take care of animals.
Seven years later, David and Emily had had a young child named
Thomas. Thomas was named to honor David's first son.
Twelve years later, David, still wanting to find his master, embarks on a journey of self-reflection to discover his next objective, being joined by Donald. He learns that his sister became Queen of the Diamond faction once the previous Queen had died, and so he needed to do what he could to reach her.
David would be abducted by Jason, the vengeful son of the infamous Lucian, and then be saved by Donald. After David's rescue, he taught Jason the truth about Lucian before helping him to find Astrid, his mother, who had been residing within a mental health facility that happened to have contained a unique individual by the name of
Soren, who had been forced to work for Lucian for years before the Purge War and believed himself to be a world-hopper who had built creations no builder could ever hope to build. Invested in his tale, David agreed to break him out of the asylum so he could lead him to Lucian's many bases. His journey also guided David and Donald to a forest, where he found a lumberjack named
Max. When they found out that he plans to slay the enderdragon, they offered for him to join them, having reasons of their own for wanting to defeat the dragon, in which David accepted.
During the investigation of one of Lucian's bases, David discovered a horrifying truth-that Lucian had used Nether magic to bond his soul with a Nether respawn anchor, which would make his return to Minecraftia an inevitability, as evident by his time spent in the future. Knowing that the return of Lucian would bring about great suffering in the future, he began to search for anything that could allow him to set the future generations up to take on this great threat to humanity.
David and his team entered the End and began their confrontation against the dragon that once was cared for by Lisra, the two embracing their inevitable fight against one another as fellow warriors-one of great power and one of great skill. In the end, David managed to slay it at the cost of Max's life. Soren entered the portal and returned to his own world, while David entered it and encountered Steve, his former master, in his Patron form. He learned the reason why Steve brought him back to life-which was an act of guilt and an attempt to make amends, and that David was not the same David that had died after defeating the Nulls, but that he was a clone of that original David. David, horrified at the thought that not only was he a clone, but that the original him had lived and died a miserable existence, became disgusted with Steve for forcing him on this path only for him to suffer such a fate. Steve didn't believe he deserved to be forgiven, but wanted David to understand why he did it. He promised David that from that point on, what he did with his life would not be influenced by Steve in any way, and David was brought back to his world, shocked with the information he had learned. David and Donald mourned the loss of Max and built him a grave and wished Soren the best of luck in his world as they made their way back home.
Along the way home, they visited a village by a forest that David vaguely remembered. A woman and her son greeted him with a voices that he recognized as the voice of Amy and Thomas. With a shock, he realized that the village he was in was Visinfeld Village, a place he had written off as solely a location his mind had conjured up. Amy and Thomas didn't recognize him in any way even when he tried to get them to, and he came to the conclusion that the people and place may have been real, but his place within it had not. He returned the necklace that she had given him in his dream back to Amy, who was surprised to learn that he had her lost necklace, and then wished the son a wonderful life as he continued his way back home.
David returned home to his wife and son. But with the knowledge he had received about Lucian's sinister plans, he couldn't linger for long, as he had to go to the Queen in order to act on it. When he did arrive, he and Queen Natalia shared a happy reunion as she learned that he is alive again and the two then went to discuss their lives following their time apart. David, knowing that when Lucian would strike again he would start subtly the way he did during the Purge War, revealed details from his time in the future as well as Lucian's plot to her and proposed the idea of an order that can act as a check to the government while being a voice of the common people. Natalia, knowing the evil nature of Lucian and his plans, authorized his idea and gives him adequate funding to make it a reality. With this, David gave the organization the name of the
Order of the Stone, to honor his friend Soren. The next many years would be spent by David working to build up the Order. During this point, David would encounter
Lisra, of whom he hadn't seen since the two worked together to help him regain his memories. She greeted him and praised him on the great hero he had become, having completed the task the Patron had set out for him. David offered her a place within the Order of the Stone, but she refused, reminding him that her place was with the
Sapia. She however did promise that the Sapia would be involved with the Order of the Stone.
Six years after the Order of the Stone was authorized by the Queen, David found a newly-born child alone in a field, the boy's parents seemingly have abandoned him. He chose to adopt him and named the boy
Julian. David hoped to one day pass his legacy down to him, as long as the boy would choose to accept this future. And so began David's plan of passing the mantle of the hero onto a successor.
Eighteen years later, David decided it would be time to give one last gift for the future battles against evil and enable his spirit to persist once his time is over. He also decided it was time for Julian to prove himself as his successor. Emily strongly refused to let either of them go and gave David an ultimatum: to stop leaving his family and risking death or that they were done. David, with much sadness, chose to continue on his path with Julian, leaving Emily and Thomas behind and the two traveled across the world to four sacred locations in order for Julian to fulfill a task as David prayed to the ancient Creator and the Patron, empowering his spirit in the process.
During David and Julian's journey, Jason would receive a dream guiding him to the ruins of the illager castle his father had resided in during the Purge War and tracked down David and Julian to bring them with him. There, they would discover a newly-respawned Lucian, who unsuccessfully attempted to bring his son to his side. Once Lucian learned David was there and had turned Jason against him, he became enraged and began mocking the elderly hero and drew his weapon. He attempted to kill David, but was swiftly killed himself by the hero.
Once all four location were completed, David's spirit was tagged and immortalized to reincarnate when the world needs a hero to rise up, as David gave up his physical form, bidding his son one last farewell. Julian became ever closer to reaching his father's title of Hero and becoming the head of the Order of the Stone.
David would be remembered as the son of Prince
Joseph, and a hero that would fight to protect the world and humanity from many threats. He would be seen as a historic figure who built the Order of the Stone, the first true checks and balance system. Some would even wonder if he had known just how vital the Order of the Stone would become when the historic tyrant, Lucian, rose to power.

Watchman Deedly
You weren't kidding when you said this was a long article. I'm digging David's ability to change into a spider. Also, "David was grounded for a while for his reckless behavior." LOL And the Amy and Thomas storyline made me sad. You've got a lot of interesting content here and I look forward to seeing David's completed adventures.
