Old East Warehouses - North side of East Main St, West from Peabody

Constructed in the early 19th century, these great brick Georgian-styled warehouses have stood next to the river for a century. Most are unused, although local businesses rent one or two for temporary storage from time to time. Recently Lucky Clover Cartage has leased an extra warehouse among these in addition to their main warehouse.   Watermarks five feet above the ground can be seen on the sides of these buildings, scars from the flood of 1888.   Aaron O’Mooney works for the O’Bannion mob, in theory as an employee of Lucky Clover Cartage Co., but more accurately as a thug. Lucy Clover Cartage has recently rented one of the old warehouses on the north side of East Main Street near the river, and Aaron is one of the O’Bannion thugs who can be found at the place, keeping an eye on his boss’s goods. Aaron hails from Boston originally, though he left that city after some trouble in one of the pubs left a man dead. Aaron might not have been the one responsible - or he might - but a change of scenery he determined to be a good idea.
