Mary Jones inherited this store from her father when he passed several years ago. She manages the place with her close friend Geraldine Hannah and local carpenter David White.
The store is meticulously organized, and while they don’t carry a lot of industrial tools or materials, Mary is always happy to put in custom orders for people. Jones' sells a variety of useful items, but more than that they supply several larger projects in the city. Whether someone is buying unusual amounts of lye, uncommon tools or even something like a suspicious amount of mortar, the hardware store could be a good location for picking up rumors about individuals who went missing, those suspected of crimes, and other pertinent details. Jones sells dynamite and caps to regular customers but not to "strange foreign types up to no good".
