Bryant's Apothecary - 135 E Church St
A relatively small drugstore, Bryant's is north of the Missituk campus but still close enough that it’s convenient for both staff and students alike. Beyond basic necessities, Bryant's also offers ice cream and soda to its customers. Even if the gleaming metal and glass seems at odds with the old wood, dim lights and occasionally dusty shelves, that doesn’t stop many students from congregating around its counter in the late afternoons or early evenings.
Mather Bryant, 61, has run this store for nearly forty years. Competition with the Walgreen's makes business lean, but Bryant's old customers are loyal.
