Quirky Strackzacken is an endearing female gnome who loves pumpkins. She lives in Gnomingen, a small city located inside of a dead volcano. Quirky is married to Burbish, the mayor of Gnomingen and they have five children together.
Quirky and Burbish both share a passion for inventing mechanical gadgets and contraptions. When they’re not busy taking care of their family or running the city, they can be found tinkering away in the workshop behind their house with all sorts of clockwork creations.
Their first invention was a wheeled cart that could carry large loads of pumpkins from one side of the city to another without any effort on the part of its driver – perfect for Quirky’s pumpkin-loving heart! As time passed by, more inventions were made: an automated irrigation system for watering plants; flying machines powered by steam; even robots that could do menial tasks around town – all designed with one goal in mind: make life easier for everyone living in Gnomingen.
Today, Quirky Strackzacken's inventions are considered marvels among her peers and she has become known as one of the finest inventors ever seen in Gnomingen since its founding hundreds of years ago. Her husband Burbish couldn't be prouder.

Quirky and Burbish have been having an affair with Orita for several years, unbeknownst to the citizens of Gnomingen. In the last few months, she has become more and more paranoid. She thinks that someone knows about her affair with Orita outside of her marriage, as well as her gambling debts and bribery problems.
Quirky is also deeply in debt due to her gambling problem, which began shortly after moving to Gnomingen. In order to quell her financial woes, Quirky often takes bribes from local business owners in exchange for favours or leniency on any legal matters pertaining to their businesses (apart from selling them overpriced gadgets). Burbish not only knows about these secrets but also helps them happen by letting Quirky and other people do certain things or make deals if it will make his wife happy without making people suspicious.
