Broad-shouldered and horned, the Minos strike an imposing frame. The Minos are nymphs native to Jupiter. Despite making up about the same amount of the population as the Daphnae, the Minos are barely represented in the Jovian Senate. The discrimination is well documented. Minos may rise to Patrician under the same conditions, and often do, but the rank slips out of their grasp. Ancient bylaws are ignored for everyone else but suddenly invoked once Minos are involved.
Stereotypes and Misinformations
The Daphnae have long insisted that Minos are brutes and barbarians, best suited for hard labour. Many Minos, especially young men, have left Jupiter in search of a better life elsewhere. Often they end up in employement that reinforce these stereotypes.
Some enjoy being seen as dangerous, and the allure that comes with it. Others recognize that being desired isn't necessarily the same as being accepted.
Horns
Minos are often misunderstood as an all-male or mostly male species, with it being common misinformation that only male minos have horns. While some Minos are polled, either natually unable to grow horns or intentionally filing them down or having them removed, both male and female minos can and do grow horns.Humanoids | Kara · Mori · Fei · Human · Lysa · Minos · Harpid · Sirenes · Oceanid |

"being desired isn't necessarily the same as being accepted." Awe :c
Yeah. It doesn't necessarily mean they're not accepted either, but I think a lot of Minos have run into people who are mostly interested in what they can be for them.
