Persothan

The city of Persothan lies where the Festermere swamps reach the coast at Arndak Bay in the north of Teros Major.

The city was never captured by the invading armies of Forbin during the War of Salvation. While still officially part of the realm of Teros, the city remains free of the occupying forces in the south, and largely pursues its own policies.

The Reeds District is home to most of the city's sizeable population of Bulgiss.

Landmarks and key locations

In the heart of the city lies Champions' Plaza; on the western edge of this square stands the great Hall of the People.
The Hall of the Night, a temple to Tirax and home to the Nightsisters stands near the city's western gate.
The Indigo Pavilion, an elaborate bathhouse, stands at the southern edge of the city.

Persothan has a total population of approximately 27,600.
Persothan is populated by many species, although Humans and Bulgiss form the two largest denominations. Most Bulgiss live together in the Reeds district, with their own style of housing and community built on tribal traditions and divisions, although some have largely adopted Human modes of living in the rest of the city.
