Bronze Palace

The Bronze Palace of Olnath stands as both the heart of the Peacekeeper occupation and a testament to the nation's’ troubled past. Its once-regal halls have been repurposed to house the offices and barracks of Forbin's administrators and soldiers.   Once the seat of Terosian monarchs, the palace was the site of many pivotal moments in Teros' history. It witnessed the proclamation of Teros’ independence by Lord Guardian Zarroth in 1264, the bloody power struggles of rival dynasties that followed, and the ill-fated triumph of Marak III as he celebrated the conquest of Daros and Mar Mabon. The opulent chambers of the palace fell silent during the time of warlord rule, only to echo once more once Yarivona declared the unification of Teros once more. The palace’s history reached a turning point when Trybon Fane's armies stormed its gates in 2264, marking the end of Yarivona’s reign.   Today, it serves as the operational headquarters for the Peacekeepers. The Lord High Governor of Teros now sits on the throne, while the Grand Commander's oversees day-to-day operations.   The echoes of Teros’ past linger, the palace corridors haunted by memories of ambition and defeat. Forbin’s banners may now hang where Terosian standards once flew, but the grand structure still bears the scars of its turbulent history. For the people of Olnath, the Bronze Palace is a stark reminder of lost sovereignty and the price of defiance.
