Trybon Fane

Trybon Fane is the Golden King, ruler of Forbin.
Fane rules the realm from the city of Holdras where he resides at the Palace of the Golden King.
Fane was identified as the rightful heir to the throne in accordance with a prophecy made in Gathansin in 1510. This occurred during the early part of the War of Salvation.
On being crowned as Golden King, he reunited the fractured regions of Forbin and led the successful invation of Teros and defeat of the tyrant sorceress Yarivona at Amur Lefra.
In the years that followed, Fane's rule has been occasionally tumultuous. His recklessness, temper, vanity, and greed have all been the cause of friction both internally (with the Lords Guardian in particular) and with Forbin's neighbours.
Fane is estranged from his wife Kalona. They have two sons: Taramin Fane (aged 15) and Berdas (aged 13).

Fane is served by a host of advisors and others that help shape policy and execute his will.
