Midrun

Midrun is a region in the heart of Great Forbin.

The region stretches from the Misdorn River in the west, across to the River Pud in the east. It includes the towns of Misdorn, Pudras, and Manath. To the north lie the Amber Plains.
Known for its lush valleys, flowing rivers, and vibrant agricultural communities, Midrun serves as a vital agricultural heartland for Forbin, contributing significantly to the realm's food supply and cultural richness.

Climate

Midrun enjoys a temperate climate with distinct seasons, featuring warm summers and cool winters. The region receives ample rainfall throughout the year, supporting its rich soil and abundant vegetation. The rivers, particularly the Misdorn, provide essential water resources for farming and local ecosystems, fostering a thriving environment for both flora and fauna.

Geography

The region is ruled by the Lord Guardian, Pel Highstaff from White Keep.
The people of Midrun are primarily engaged in agriculture. The region’s largest town is Misdorn, with its fertile valley and the Temple of Girys. Manath, at an important crossroads further downstream, also plays a key role in the region's agricultural landscape.
The annual Kegfest in Hiril Danor celebrates the region's brewing heritage, drawing visitors from across Forbin to enjoy local ales and festivities.
