Manath is a town at the western edge of Forbin's Midrun region. The town guards an important crossroads next to the Misdorn River on the border with Gilrim.

The town is governed by its Mistress, Tarna Modann. She has held the position for over two decades, and is a canny political operator.
Modann maintains strong ties with local merchants, ensuring the flow of trade through the town brings wealth to its people. She also has a good working relationship with Pel Highstaff, Lord Guardian of the region of Midrun.
