Summercamp 2022 - here we go!
Bronze Prompts
The first 8 prompts were losely connected with a concept of a great expanse. So I expanded (heh) on that:
A great woodlands in the southern area of
Caramiza is the
Wunnewalden. In there is the great ancient woodland of Deep Wunnewalden, where a druidic people lives. Not completely wild but more reliant on magic and living with nature, they follow
Vitukua's teachings and their obsession for Dragons and Ascension.
They will have at least one bigger settlement within the forest, which acts as a trading point for traders along the big river flowing through the lands. Here they trade goods only found in the forest, like big, tasty, magical fruits. Those fruits are a big part of daily live in the region, consumed by people and animals alike.
Also there will be a bird which is part mini dragon which is sometimes aggressive but also eats the fruit. Not good for the traders who want to transport the fruit out, which makes it a need to protect from those birds.
Unfortunately, I wrote about the Wunnewalden Region already - last Summercamp. So as a fallback I will write about the large but only sparsely populated area in the east of Caramiza -
Copperwynn

Silver Prompts
This wave of prompts is about leadership! What a great opportunity to finally flesh out the Council concept I had in mind for quite some time. The Council in Caramiza is supposed to be made up of three different types of members, those that inherited the title, those that bought it (the upcoming merchants) and those voted in.
The new prompts give me an opportunity to flesh out how they actually came to be in this constellation - what happend to overcome the pure heridtary system and why does it still exists in part? Apparently, this is based on a military conflict now, as that is one of the prompts.
How do they represent themselves to the outside? All the traditions and rituals that come with a political elite - they can (and should) be consequences of the events leading to the current structure. People and roles important in the conflict should still have some weight in the current structure. Some decisions (like a walled of government quarter and the factr that common people can be voted in and HAVE to live there) can be rooted in that moment and have evolved into somethin new.
I am excited to flesh out these prompts. Of course there is yet another whiteboard:
Gold Prompts
I am criminally late to start with the gold prompts (right now it is day 22 - they were released on day 16), but at least the apparent theme "Discovery" immediately summoned an image in my head.
Depp in the
Ukanten Mountains there are ruins to be found. They have mostly been found recently, actually - and among them some astonishingly well preserved settlements filled with odd architecture and amazing magical technology that has been lost or unknown to the world for a while now. Also the depictions and the writing and everything seems to be unlike anything the knowsn human civilizations use. For example last year's
Ancient Shortrunes. Their technology inspires today's industrial efforts, see the
Highpressure Magofurnace.
Anyway, here is my whiteboard for the prompts:
Diamond Prompts
Here we GO! I actually found time AND ENERGY to all Gold prompts in time for Diamond. SO the game is back on. The next theme will be "monstrous" - I am looking forward to the prompts. This time I will create the article stubs and the whiteboard in parallel to the stream.
