Firediamond

Investigating the top of that lavafall was the best idea I ever had! I found this incredible diamond embedded directly into the lavaflow. Has anyone ever heard of an incombustable diamond? I have not. Yet the diamond was almost cold to the touch after centuries sitting in the lava. And to top it off, this jewel is almsot vibriating with the magical energy filled within it.

The firediamond is a large and apparently indestructable diamond, found at the top of the Emerald Lavafall in Jewelstone Deeps, by Gustav Federlauf a member of the Ukanten-Reetmayer Expedition.
It ws deeply imbedded in the flow of the lavafall, apparently granting it the immense magical properties.
The gem is a huge diamond the size of a fist, surrounded with intricate gold and steel decorations. The form seems to indicate this jewel was once set into an unknown artifact.
As Federlauf had remarked in his notes, the diamond charged immensly with the magic of fire, associated with Apac. Upon removing the gem from the lavafall, he noticed a reduction in magic flowing through this natural wonder, leading him to suspect the gem did in fact charge the lavafall and not the other way around.

A large jewel filed with the magic of the god Apac - Comparing this with depictions I can find around this settlement i believe this is the Manedir's Gemstone! How else could this gem be so powerful, if not created by the gods directly to enable their ability of creation Manedir? Further focussed research is required.
