Elven Rebellion

History

Criminals wth a debt

The tale of these adventurers begins in an unlikely setting: the jail of the guard barracks in Megima. Four prisoners, each with a unique background and set of circumstances, found themselves awaiting their sentences.
Creyola Nepomuk, or Nep, a peculiar Tiefling, had been caught causing trouble. Orianna, a strong and assertive woman, stood by her side, vehemently defending Nep as she argued with the guards. Galad Ithil, a beautiful Elf devoted to Selune, joined Orianna in advocating for the prisoners. Jade, a Human with uncontrollable powers that resulted in a fire, was held in the jail due to the chaos she inadvertently caused. Marilith, a half-drow, was captured based on her appearance, with the false accusation of illegal border crossing. Lastly, Faust von Verurteilung, a young noble, believed that his wealth would secure his release.

After negotiations led by Orianna and Galad, the group obtained partial freedom, but with a condition—they would have to work together as a team for the guards of the Qwir until their debts were repaid. Thus, this eclectic group of criminals found themselves navigating the bustling streets of Megima, assisting the guards in their duties.
During their service, they encountered a tiefling blacksmith who, due to his heritage, was unjustly accused of being a firestarter. The adventurers also crossed paths with Lysandra, a Changeling using her abilities for thievery. Rather than turning her in, they convinced her to abandon her life of crime and start anew. As part of their duty, they were sent to Crow Perch, a nearby village plagued by bandits demanding money from travelers. The adventurers, in a fierce encounter, slew most of the bandits, earning themselves the moniker "Butcher of Crow Perch." Surprisingly, they spared the lone surviving bandit, Evandor Siannodel, and even saved him from danger.

Fight of the Elven Forest

Thanks to Evandor, the adventurers become entwined with the Elven Rebels, offering their assistance to the cause. Although Evandor remains true to his promise of refraining from criminal activities, he believes in supporting the rebels even if it means facing peril. The adventurers, now in contact with the rebels, meet Valia and Vari, who extend an offer to join their cause due to the mercy shown to Evandor. Accepting the offer would release them from their contract with the guards but brand them as wanted criminals. The decision is wrested from their hands when a clash erupts between the Soldiers of the Qwir and the elven rebels.
As the conflict unfolds, witnessing the cruelty of the soldiers, the adventurers align themselves with the rebels and escape. Presumed dead in the conflict, the six adventurers find refuge with the rebels. Although they evade being wanted criminals, the rebels suffer significant losses and task the adventurers with a critical mission. They are to seek the assistance of the Sister of the Vale, dryads who may provide refuge for the elves in their protected forest.
Embarking on a journey to the Wood of the Vale, they encounter Eithne Flosthùl, the Green Enchantress. Despite her reluctance to allow such a large group into her forest, she agrees, not wanting to witness the unnecessary deaths of the elves. The adventurers learn of ruins within the woods, Craag An Ruins, and are informed that clearing the ruins will grant them access to the shelter.
Navigating the swampy part of the forest, the ruins prove to be a challenging labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and puzzles. The adventurers persevere, facing slimes, fungi, and a dragonbone golem in a large room before discovering a broken portal frame. Having cleared the dungeon, they return to the Dryad village of Craag An and meet Reyth alongside the Green Enchantress. Honoring their deal, Eithne grants them permission to use the ruins as they see fit, and Reyth taunts them before teleporting them back to the ruins.

The Rebels' new home

The main force of the elven rebels joins the adventurers in the Wood of the Vale, establishing a camp in the ruins that they begin to clean and transform into a suitable home. To their surprise, the large portal discovered by the adventurers turns out to be an invaluable gift for the rebels—an ancient portal to the Feywild. If repaired, this portal could provide a means for transporting large numbers of troops.

Valia Abalhan and Vari Abalhan devise a plan to repurpose the portal. Rather than linking it to the Feywild, they aim to connect it to other planes, drawing power from these planes to support their rebellion. However, repairing the portal is already a daunting task, and altering its destination seems impossible to Valia at the moment. Once again, the adventurers are called upon for assistance. Their new mission is to journey to the Feywild, seeking the counsel of the Archfey of the Summer Court. These powerful beings are likely to possess the knowledge of the secrets behind these portals and how to manipulate them.

Feywild

A grand Title

Crossing into the Feywild, the adventurers encounter a peculiar creature—a raccoon-like beast folk named Tinkeroo. Initially caught picnicking in the ruins with a friend, Scare. He asks the adventurers to give him their names, to which they respond with their title "Butcher of Crow Perch", the title is humorously forfeited to the trickster.
Tinkeroo proves to be quite helpful. He guides the adventurers to Humbletown, the capital of the Autumn Court. Upon reaching the town, Tom takes his leave to consult with Hap'Robin, the Archfey of the Autumn Court. Tinkeroo, being indebted to Hap'Robin and lacking the ability to see colors, hopes to negotiate the return of his vision and his friend's voice in exchange for the adventurers' title.
Tinkeroo, and Scare lie to Hap'Robin, telling him the title serves as the name of these adventurers, however, Hap'Robin realizes the trick after giving Scare his voice back and orders the guards to capture them.
Tinkeroo returns in a hurry, pursued by a group of vulpins, likely guards. He urges the adventurers to run and follow him. The guards catch up, and Tom and his friend manage to escape, leaving the adventurers to face the guards. After explaining their situation, the guards, led by one named Rox, decide to let the adventurers go. Rox offers to aid them, as he knows the region well and could guide them to the Summer Court in exchange for their assistance with a task.

Dragon Scale Cloak

His now-deceased grandfather was once an adventurer, and during his travels, he acquired a magical item—a cloak made from a single scale, the scale of an adult moonstone Dragon. Rox feels undeserving of the cloak and wishes to return it to the dragon to whom the scale belongs. The adventurers agree to assist, and with their new guide, they embark on a journey through the forests of the Autumn Court.
At the forest's edge, bordering the territories of the Spring and Autumn Courts, they encounter a Leshen that has plagued the region, causing fear among the inhabitants of the village of Red Leaf. Although the adventurers manage to defeat the creature, Orianna sustains severe injuries during the battle.
Seeking refuge in Hels Kitchen in Red Leaf to recover, they attend to Orianna's wounds. Conversations with Minerva, the inn owner, lead them to discover that a duo of pixies delivers herbs for her special brew weekly, Capucine and Sakura. The adventurers, intrigued by the mention of the Spring Court, meet the pixies the next day. The pixie couple is sad as they miss their friend Daeni, who is missing.
Investigating the disappearance, Galad learns of a mysterious place on the path to the Spring Court—a site where an old, dark, twisted tree stands on the tomb of countless fairies. Local folklore abounds with tales of the cursed tree, and people avoid the area. Daeni, the faerie dragon, was last seen nearby.
The adventurers face off against the cursed tree, an opponent that Curses Nep with a certain Death in the weeks to come, a fate she will learn only later. Exploring the tomb beneath the tree, they manage to free the small faerie dragon, but Marilith is magically aged by the Ghost of a pixie.
Grateful for the adventurers' assistance, the pixies agree to guide them to the Floating Forest surrounding the World Tree, their home, and village. A grand celebration is organized by the pixies, who temporarily shrink the adventurers, allowing them to dance, drink, and revel with them. A moonstone dragon named Aeri the green also joins the festivities. At the adventurers' request, he agrees to take them to the ancient dragon to whom the scales belong, carrying them on his back.
Daenerys White Tooth, the ancient moonstone dragon, is the rightful owner of the scale. Her lair, hidden behind a large waterfall, is filled with silver items, as she loves the sound and shine of silver. Initially displeased at being disturbed, Daenerys finds the reason for the adventurers' visit amusing. She allows Rox to keep the scale and even gifts the party with silver.
With their new acquisitions, the adventurers continue their journey to the Summer Court, guided by Rox. Before parting ways, Rox insists that Orianna keep the cloak, as she and the party will likely need it more than he does.

The Deal

On their journey to the Summer Court, guided by Rox, the party traverses the Silken Steel Forest. In this enchanting forest, they encounter talking spiders who reside in an immense web woven between the trees. The spiders' homes are crafted from silk cocoons hanging from the branches.
Helping the spiders with a minor task, the party gains their blessings to proceed. Exiting the forest, they are greeted by a squad of elves riding hippogriffs, who inquire about their intentions. After explaining their quest, they are escorted to Aechivia, the capital, and receive an invitation to meet with one of the queens of the Summer Court, Aledia Firetwist.
Upon meeting Queen Aledia, negotiations do not initially favor the adventurers. Aledia seeks entertainment, and the party offers little that she desires in exchange for the critical information they seek. Despite being welcomed as guests within the castle, they realize the need for a better offer.
The next day, some members of the party meet with Cassandra Sunray, the second queen, who provides additional information to strengthen their negotiation position. Simultaneously, Galad assists a noble of Aechivia, Ly'leth Lunastre, and learn more about the Summer Court, while Nep obtains a Hippogriff.
During the second meeting with Aledia, the urgency of Nep's curse is revealed. Aledia discloses that the curse is deadly and imposes a Time limit on the tiefling's life. Faced with the gravity of the situation, the party strikes a deal: in exchange for learning the secret of portal manipulation and curing Nep's curse, Marilith agrees to give her first child to the Summer Court, and Nep pledges to become a fey in service to the court as ordered. The terms are set, and the adventurers prepare for their return to the material plane. Aledia assures them that there will be no time warp as they cross back.

Liberation

by EleKTriiK
Back in the material planes, the elven rebels have transformed the ruins into a bustling headquarters hidden in the forest. The place is now equipped with dedicated areas for work, sleep, and meals. Many old books have been saved, a blessing for Marilith.
The rebels haven't remained idle during the adventurers' absence. An expedition, led by Trillium and Ethan Bluefeather, aimed to free Fandral Staghelm, an Archdruid from the Circle of the Flame. Fandral, along with Valia and Vari, is one of the leaders of the rebels, and he greets the returning adventurers. The rebels have been sending scouting parties to the Elemental Plane of Fire, to plan how they'll capture the spirit of fire, the Phoenix, to bring its power to their plane and aid in their rebellion. However, Valia acknowledges that it will take weeks for the necessary preparations, and the large Phoenix cannot be brought without the redirected portal.

Given some time to rest, the adventurers are provided with elven weaponry. They engage in mundane tasks, such as gathering rare herbs and plants for a feast to strengthen the bond between the dryads and the rebels. Jade, aware that her power is drawn from the Phoenix, grapples with the moral implications of capturing or dominating the spirit of fire. Meanwhile, Faust becomes more accustomed to the simple life of commoners and rebels.

Plane of Fire

Hot Tourism

The adventurers successfully redirect the portal to the Elemental Plane of Fire, creating a stable connection. Trillium, previously sent to establish a link with the scouting party in the plane of fire, is now missing, and the adventurers are tasked with finding her.   Traversing the alien and hostile landscape of the plane of fire, they reach the bustling City of Brass, a trading hub for magical items. There, they locate Trillium, a druid from the Circle of Wildfire. However, she reveals that her mission has drawn unwanted attention, specifically from a Fire Giant named Whaska.   Whaska, a smith and ally of the sultan, believes that the spirit of fire has been corrupted. Before he can share more information, he learns of the adventurers' connection to Trillium and engages them in a fight. The adventurers, especially Faust with his frost powers, manage to defeat him.   Returning to the inn with Trillium, tensions rise as the party confronts her about the circumstances. She explains that she was only recently sent to the plane of fire, as she was occupied with assisting Ethan in freeing Fandral when the adventurers returned to Toriel. Trillium, shares the history of elves being attacked and subdued by humans a millennium ago. To her, and many others, achieving peace requires a power strong enough to both combat the empire and deter future attacks.   Despite the growing extreme of the rebels' plans, the adventurers remain curious about the corruption of the phoenix. Jade, feeling a strong attraction to the plane of fire, persuade the party to seek the phoenix.

Ashes

The journey to the phoenix is perilous, involving sailing on a brass boat across a sea of magma and facing local monsters. Despite the challenges, the adventurers manage to locate the corrupted phoenix. Due to its corruption, the phoenix refuses to listen and fiercely attacks the party, leading to a perilous battle. Orianna and Nep suffer severe burns, bearing scars from the encounter, while Galad rushes to protect and heal his companions. Meanwhile, Jade's powers appear to surge uncontrollably.   In a vicious attack, the phoenix engulfs Jade in flames, piercing her heart with its talons. The phoenix is then finally defeated, turning to ashes. As the party despairs over the loss of their friend, a flame emerges from the hole in Jade's chest. Her heart blazes with fire, and she opens her eyes again, revived with the power of the phoenix. The power of the phoenix now resides in Jade's heart, destined to grow too powerful for a human form. In the years to come, she will burst into flames and transform into the spirit of fire.   Trillium, witnessing this miracle, is shaken in her beliefs. Previously devoted to Fandral, she now stands before the human form of the phoenix—a being equal to gods in many regards. Overwhelmed, Trillium begins to reveal everything she knows to the adventurers. The corruption of the phoenix was a result of the previous scouting party's attempt to magically corrupt and dominate it. When the plan failed, the rebels hoped the party would either bring back the phoenix or perish in their attempt. Fandral, a powerful archdruid of the Circle of Wildfire, believes in the cleansing power of fire, advocating for the burning of Tana's Empire and every last human and part of their territory for the elves to be truly freed.

Confrontation

The party returns to the portal with their new ally Trillium to confront Fandral, Valia, Vari, and the rebels. However, upon crossing the portal and reappearing on the material plane, they realize that Nep is missing, even though she crossed the portal with the rest of the group.

Fiery Brawl

The party faces an ultimatum: either join the rebels in their destructive quest or stand against them and face their wrath. Jade senses the Phoenix spirit's agitation behind those words, and the adventurers grows weary of manipulation, refusing to align with the rebels.   A fierce battle erupts, with the rebels attempting to eliminate the adventurers, oblivious to the fact that Jade has now become the Phoenix they seek to dominate. Evandor allies with the adventurers, alongside Lea Brownwood and Trillium.   In the skirmish, Evandor, Trillium, and Lea engage the other rebels, preventing them from overwhelming the party. Meanwhile, Galad, Faust, Jade, Orianna, and Marilith confront the three rebel leaders and Ethan. During the chaos, Ethan targets Trillium, disrupting her ability to restrain the remaining rebels and leaving the adventurers vulnerable to attacks from behind.   Valia rushes to the portal, holding her ground to defend the position and focusing on Marilith and Faust. Vari, amidst complaints that Nep is not her, launches an assault on Orianna, Galad, and Jade. Fandral, protected by the others, unleashes his powers, raining havoc on the battlefield.   As the battle takes a turn for the worse, Valia, in a desperate act, attacks the portal, triggering a magical explosion that teleports everyone in its vicinity across worlds and planes.

Pact with the Fey

Nep was abruptly whisked away to the Feywild as she stepped through the portal. Disoriented and perturbed, Nep found herself in the presence of her queen. She explained that she was aware of the rebels' plan, finding it amusing and entertaining. While lacking specific details, she had a clear picture of how events might unfold and expressed their desire to witness this future unfold. Additionally, the queen believed that the elves should be freed. Nep received a direct order not to interfere with the rebels
Do not meddle in the affairs of the rebels, for their flames burn brightly, and their torches are held high.
Initially resistant to this directive, Nep was reminded by the queen that betrayal would trigger the curse dooming her to a certain death. Reluctantly, she accepted the order, realizing the consequences of defying her fey monarch. As the conversation concluded, Nep was sent back to the material plane, alone with her weapon. She found herself facing living, dangerous plants—a reminder of the curse that bound her fate should she betray the fey. This time, she had to confront the challenge without the presence of her fellow adventurers. Despite being restrained during the fight, she managed to defeat the plants.
As the battle concludes, Nep successfully reunites with the others, reaching the underground headquarters just as the explosion reverberates through it, destroying the portal room.

The Rift

In the aftermath, only Faust, Jade, Nep, Lea, and Trillium remain within the base, each bearing severe wounds. The once-pristine skin of Faust now bears the scars of the explosion. On the ground lies the lifeless body of Evandor, Ethan and countless other rebels. The diminished group, still reeling from the loss, has little time to mourn their fallen comrade.   Amidst the wreckage, the collapsed portal room emits an enigmatic power. Jade instinctively recognizes it as the essence of the Plane of Fire. A substantial rift forms, drawing in the ruins of the room and releasing fiery elementals into the surroundings.   The recent battle's commotion attracted the attention of the Sister of the Vales, prompting Reyth to visit the adventurers. Observing the devastation on the battlefield and the opened rift, Reyth, recognized the imminent danger. Stepping forward, he confronted the rift, unleashing his power to contain it and turning into his true green dragon form. He exert every effort to prevent the tear through the planes from widening and consuming the entire forest.   Despite Reyth's valiant efforts, countless elementals continued to emerge not only underground but also throughout the forest and the surrounding region, sowing chaos and fire in the empire. The Kingdom of Vale and Kingdom -o Qwir, in particular, were heavily affected.   Eithne, arriving on the scene with her initial intent to capture the adventurers, witnessed the unfolding crisis. After negotiations and explanations, she decided to align herself with the adventurers in the impending conflict. Her primary concern was to prevent the forest, her home, from being consumed by flames, and she recognized the urgency of standing against the rebels.

Giant's Knowledge

Nesiven, shielding Marilith from harm, leaped in front of her, saving both as they were transported together to an unknown location. Wounded from the intense battle, particularly Nesiven, the two women found themselves knee-deep in snow with inadequate clothing to shield them from the biting cold. The surroundings appeared strangely distorted, with abnormally large landscape.   Desperate for shelter, they discovered the entrance to an abandoned mine of extraordinary size, speculating that the explosion might have shrunk them. Inside, they encountered a humanoid figure with stone-like skin, comparable in size to the furniture around them, revealing that they were now on the Giant Island to the north.   Fortunately, Stone Giants, known for their peaceful nature, posed no immediate threat. Despite their injuries, Nesiven and Marilith engaged in conversation with the giant, who, having learned from recent history, treated the two with respect. The stone giant, surprised to see them in this realm, shared insights into their ancient art of Giant's Rune—a magical practice. Marilith, clutching her spellbook, found great value in this information, while Nesiven gained the knowledge to inscribe empowering runes on her armor and weapons.   Concerned for the two women, the giant offered assistance and led them to an old, abandoned boat they could use to reach the continent. Utilizing Marilith's magic, Nesiven and Marilith easily rejoined the others, their journey only hindered by the time it took to traverse the distance.

Sisters of Selune

The explosion propelled Dorn against a wall with a resounding metallic crack. When he finally opens his eyes, he finds himself kneeling by a pond, moonlight reflecting on its surface, he's suddenly aware of a sweet voice behind him. A feminine figure materializes.
There is a fire, a fire so bright the moonlight cannot be seen. You must help them, my dear Galad.
Selune
With those words, the vision abruptly ends, and Galad awakens in a bed within a temple of Selune in the Elven Forest. By his side is Lysandra, a new acolyte of the Sisters of Selune of Selune, who explains that he was found under the moonlight near the temple's pond.   Galad, seemingly unharmed, discovers that his armor, damaged during the explosion, has transformed into a symbol of Selune. When he dons it, he feels an even greater surge of power. Lysandra reveals themselves as the changeling they had encountered before, now living a serene life dedicated to the moon goddess, following the adventurers' advice. They expresses gratitude to Dorn and pledges their assistance whenever he might need it.   Within the Elven Forest, Galad encounters no difficulty in reuniting with the others, guided by the magic of the forest and the newfound connection to Selune's divine power.

At the edge of the forest

Tana's empire army swiftly mobilized, gathering soldiers from the Kingdom of Vale, the Duchy of Freed, and the Kingdom of Qwir. The united forces marched towards the Wood of the Vale, as magicians pinpointed the source of the problem in that location.   Empire spies had gathered comprehensive information about the rebels, leading the imperial forces to focus their efforts on rooting out and eliminating the insurgents in the forest. Lewis von Verurteilung, Faust's father, joined the campaign as part of a delegation of noblemen in the army camp.   The siege on the forest commenced, with the imperial army encircling the area. Without Reyth's formidable power to counter them, facing the combined might of the army, with only the adventurers and the green enchantress, proved to be an arduous task.   Faust's noble lineage proves to be advantageous as he recognizes his father, Lewis, among the commanders. Despite their strained relationship since Faust's parents' separation and subsequent rejection due to his haughty behavior, Faust uses his nobility to secure an audience with Lewis and other military commanders.   In the meeting, Lewis is visibly moved upon learning that his son is not only alive but also bearing the scars of battle. Pride and regret mix in his eyes as he expresses sorrow for casting Faust away, especially now knowing the perilous situation it led his son into.   The interview sheds light on the rebels' perspective, alerting the army to the imminent danger they pose. As this information is disseminated, Galad, Nesiven, and Marilith arrive at the wood, joining the assembly. The revelation and ensuing discussion shift the army's approach and understanding of the rebels' motivations.

Flames and Elves

Galad, bearing distressing news from the Elven Wood, reveals that tensions have reached a critical point. Rumors of a gathering rebellion in Megima, coupled with increased tension, have created a precarious situation. The impending revolt seems to have escalated the conflict within the elven capital.   Seizing the opportunity presented by the army's mobilization, the rebels have launched an attack on the Elven capital with the intent to seize the throne and control over the elven kingdom. Faced with the difficulty of combating the empire as rebels, their new strategy involves vying for power as a kingdom. The city is now in chaos, with flames engulfing it as the rebels specifically target the castle where Queen Manael Soliadon Tana reigns.   In contrast, Nep receives instructions not to interfere. So far, her focus has been on dealing with the portal, Tana's army, and maintaining an indirect link to the rebels. However, the dilemma arises as the army moves towards Megima, and Nep finds herself torn between following her queen's orders and the urgent situation unfolding in the elven capital.   The decision to tell a fighter like Nep not to fight proves to be a misguided one, especially considering her relentless spirit. Ignoring the Archfey's orders, Nep embraces a newfound power bestowed upon her by Goldrin, the god wolf of savagery. Accepting the primal power to protect the land from the encroaching flames and seek vengeance, Nep transforms into a paladin of vengeance, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead, even if it means risking her own life.   As the adventurers lead the empire army towards the Kingdom -o Qwir, approaching Megima reveals a city engulfed in flames on the horizon. Lysandra and fellow sisters of Selune assist civilians in escaping, and briefs the party on the situation. Valia, Vari, and Fandral united the surviving rebels, gathering those who desire an end to the queen's leadership.   The elves, supported by the rebels, initiated an assault on the city, burning it in their attempt to breach the castle. Queen Manael was forced to open the doors, letting the rebels inside as the city succumbs to flames to prevent further damage to the civilians. With chaos reigning in the streets, the adventurers, now face a burning city and an uncertain situation within the castle, press forward.   The army divides its focus, soldiers from the Vale targeting rebels to quell chaos, while soldiers from -o Qwir aid the sisters of Selune in securing and rescuing civilians. The adventurers rush towards the castle to prevent an unthinkable outcome.   The city has transformed into a large battlefield, with fire consuming once-charming trees and houses. As they near the castle, an explosion blows out one of the towers, which collapses onto the adventurers. Dodging the falling debris, they rush into the castle, the debrus locking them inside, isolated until the ruins can be cleared. The stakes are high as they face a perilous situation within the castle's walls.

Noble Fight

Inside the castle, rebels and druids from the Circle of Wildfire attempt to thwart the adventurers, but the party prevails and reach the throne room.   They arrive just in time to witness Vari driving a flaming sword through Queen Manael, ending her reign. The room erupts into chaos as a fierce battle ensues between the six heroes and the rebel leaders. Fandral summons elementals and beasts of fire, transforming himself into a mighty, flame-engulfed beast. Vari engages Nep and Orianna with a sinister grin, finally getting the chance to confront the Tiefling and her best friend, while Valia employs her spells to sow confusion among the adventurers.   The fight unfolds as an epic clash, with each participant's life hanging in the balance. Despite the adventurers emerging victorious, the toll is heavy: Marilith succumbs to the battle, and even with the combined healing powers of Galad and Jade, her body burns into ashes, rendering resurrection impossible.

A new kingdom

In the aftermath of the recent events, the Kingdom -o Qwir faced the urgent need for independence from the empire. The elves, having suffered enough under imperial rule, were eager to break free.   With the announcement of the defeat of the rebels' leader, the adventurers took advantage of the situation to negotiate with the imperial general. They presented the empire with a choice: engage in a prolonged battle with them, resulting in considerable losses, or allow the elves to flourish in the reborn Kingdom -o Qwir.   Recognized as heroes of great might, the adventurers leveraged their influence to facilitate the negotiation. The absence of a ruling leader after Manael's death led the people to turn to Galad. His wisdom and unwavering protection of those he loved made him a suitable candidate for the throne. Galad, the only surviving elf among the adventurers, was crowned king of the elves, marking the beginning of a new era.

Aftermath

In the days that followed, the reconstruction of Megima commenced, and on the day of the coronation, Galad was blessed by Lysandra and many sisters of Selune. The Green Enchantress and Reyth, having closed the rift, paid their respects to the new king. Various individuals the adventurers had encountered on their journey, including Rox, Dani, Capucine, Sakura, Aledia, Trillium, and Lea, joined in the festivities. However, Emperor Charles III refused to attend the coronation, still mourning the death of his mother, Manael.   Trillium stepped into the role of the new court wizard.   Nep, feeling the weight of the curse taking a toll on her body, recognized that her days were numbered. As the curse continued to consume her, she braced herself for the inevitable, knowing that soon she would join her fallen friends.   Faust, surpassing his father's expectations, returned to his family after his heroic journey. With newfound wisdom, he assumed the leadership of the family and took over his father's trade. At his side was Lea Brownwood, his love, who, despite the chaos and politics, decided to stand by his side.   Jade, having wielded the power of the phoenix extensively, felt the fire within her consuming her body. Her form struggled to contain the overwhelming power, and she bid her last words to those she loved before returning to the Plane of Fire.   In honor of Marilith, a statue was erected in the magic school of Megima, immortalizing the fallen wizard. The ruins in the Wood of the Vale, now referred to as Evandor's Rest, stood as a somber reminder of the battles and sacrifices endured by the adventurers in their quest for freedom.
