Fandral Staghelm Character in Toriel | World Anvil

Fandral Staghelm

"If you are here to waste my time, then you are wasting the time of the Elven Rebels as a whole. For your sake, let us hope that you are not foolish enough to be doing just that."
— Fandral Staghelm

Archdruid of the Circle of Wildfire

Fandral Staghelm is an archdruid of the Circle of Wildfire, and a former leader of the Elven Rebels.

History

Part of the generation born after the indexation of the Kingdom -o Qwir by Tana's Empire, Fandral fought alongside the elven rebels. Fighting for years, he grew to be an extremely powerful druid, bested only by Broll Bearmantle as he followed the wise teaching of the Circle of the Moon. After Broll capture, Fandral became the defacto leader, his allegiance to the circle of the moon shifting to the circle of Wildfire. His only son, Valstann was targeted by the empire army, as he was Fandral only weakness, his death bringing Fandral to despair, as he had lost any will to fight.   Soon captured by the empire army, he was now destined to rot in the jails of Tana's Empire for centuries, a fate some may argue is worth than death. However, in 1135 AD, the druid was freed by the elven rebels, hoping their long gone leader could help them with a newly open portal to the Elemental Plane of Fire to harness power necessary to fight against the empire.
