The Great Extinction
Disaster / DestructionLong before the era of the dragons, humans were incredibly developed, This is a time, that even the elf did partially forget. Back then, their greed for power was already overwhelming, driving them to experiment with forces beyond the limit of mortals. This is said to have caused their extinction, not only the humans, but most of the Living been on those land vanished, causing great change to Toriel. This is referred to as the Great Extinction.

Nevertheless, the dragons' appetite for ever greater riches and the giants' appetite for ever-larger territories pushed them into war, known in folklore Draco-Giant War. The giants and the dragons killed each other for years, their respective gods quarrelling at the same time.
