In combat, Vali is hard to find and harder to hit. He has plenty of options for getting out of a tight spot, making him a particularly slippery damage-dealer.
History
His Elvish tongue was silken, and while my language was clearly foreign to him, he infused it with an almost musical quality. “There is a vine in the deepwood,” he said, “which my people call
iriolis. It roughly translates to ‘the creeping fingers’. This vine grows everywhere: over the land, up the trees, under the water – even up the face of stone. The problem is that it grows too well. The fingers are greedy; they drain the soil, taint the water and leave no sunlight for others. This is why we rip it up from the roots, for to let iriolis live is to let the forest die.”
“I do not understand,” I replied. “I thought iriolis was the Elven word for Humans.”
“Indeed,” he said, drawing the silver scimitar from the scabbard at his waist.
A once-celebrated hunter condemned by his people for fratricide, Ethan serves as a prized scout and assassin for the
Elven Rebels. The elf excels at picking off enemies from the treetops with his magic longbow.
Under the order of Vari he lead the scouting parties of the rebels and gather intel for them. A group of adventurers working with the rebels was on a quest in the
Feywild, meanwhile Ethan and Trillium worked diligently to orchestrate Fandral's escape.
Ethan Bluefeather leads scouting parties, his primary responsibility is to collect crucial information for the rebel cause under the directives of Vari Abalhan. Concurrently, a band of adventurers aligned with the rebels embarks on a quest within the Feywild.
During this period, Ethan collaborates closely with Trillium to meticulously plan and execute the escape of Fandral Staghelm, another prominent figure within the rebels' ranks.
After Fandral's liberation and the adventurers' return, Ethan's is assigned to oversee the reconnaissance of
Megima as the adventurers were dispatched to the
Elemental Plane of Fire. He aimed to be the first to receive information about any movements of the
Soldiers of the Qwir. However, upon the adventurers' return from the plane of fire, they were determined to confront the rebels and engage in battle.
Ethan met his demise during the ensuing conflict, fighting alongside the rebels.
