History

Two queens

Cassandra Sunray had reigned as the Archfey of the Summer Court long before the Great Extinction, especially as Time in the Feywild tend to be elusive. Cassandra's inherently chaotic and whimsical nature set her apart as a peculiar Archfey.   When Aledia Firetwist arrived in Aechivia with legions of elves seeking refuge from the impending great extinction, Cassandra viewed it as an unwelcome burden. Aledia assumed leadership, organizing the elves, while Cassandra observed her with interest. The two eventually met and formed an unexpected friendship.   As Aledia grew frustrated with Cassandra's inaction, she challenged her to a duel for control of the summer court. However, the confrontation turned into a sensual encounter, and instead of a decisive victor, the two made a pact. They agreed to co-rule the summer court, their lives forever intertwined—should one perish, so would the other.

Enterainement

A group of adventurers arrived at the Summer Court with the intention of seeking information about an ancient elven portal. Cassandra, aware that this was a part of Aledia's scheme, found amusement in watching the adventurers negotiate for a deal that was inherently unfair. Delighting in the chaos, Cassandra couldn't resist meddling in the affair, subtly aiding the adventurers and causing a playful nuisance for Aledia.   Later, when Aledia apprehended her new servant, Nep, and issued an order for her not to engage in combat against the rebels, Cassandra assumed the role of a reminder. She pointedly informed the Tiefling that the terms of their deal could be broken, but doing so would unleash the curse that condemned her to Death. This left Nep with a challenging choice – to defy Aledia's orders and fight at the risk of her life or to obediently follow Aledia's command.

Linked lives

The day following the coronation of Galad Ithil as the king of the Kingdom -o Qwir, Nep approached the newly appointed elven king to request a favor – to be transported to the Feywild using Megima's portal to Aechivia. Driven by a desire for a final vengeance, Nep, weakened by the curse withering her, consumed potions and medicine to strengthen herself before entering Aechivia.   Determined no one dared to stop the heroes who fought and won countless battles. Even the Summer Watch, intimidated by Nep's presence allowed her to find their queens.   Upon arriving at the Nighthold, Nep faced the two queens, Aledia and Cassandra. They were aware of the tiefling arrival and ready to face her. They exchanged a few words, arguing with Nep about the curse and the betrayal, as each side thought it had been betrayed by the other.   Unable to reach a peaceful agreement, A fight was engaged, the archfey gaining the upper hand in the fight as their bond allowed them to work with each other.   But Nep ripped the necklace of firebeads on her neck and threw it at Aledia who was invisible. Turning the odds in her favor as Aledia was now visible again. However, this caused the main tower of the Nighthold to start to tip and collapse, debris making the battlefield more and more dangerous, forcing the fighters to escape outside.   Aledia used this opportunity to ambush Nep, gaining the upper hand again, as Nep yelled "stop" and Cassandra vouched to talk.   Cassandra offered Nep a deal, to abandon her life of fight in exchange for her protection, of both Aledia and the curse, but Nep would not live a life without the sword, and refused the offer, facing Aledia in a final battle.   Aledia, faster managed to kill Nep before she was killed, or so she thought, a magical Tattoo on Nep's skin allowing her to cling to life, just enough for her to push into Aledia's defense and kill her.   Cassandra, in a desperate attempt to save herself, rushes to Nep, driving a sword through her back, but it does not kill her, and Cassandra's life, linked to Aledia, is soon over as she falls onto Nep's feet, dead.
