Company of the Golden Flower
Founded on the Clay Steppes of Azermathia, few thought the Company of Golden Flower would rise to prominence from their meager beginnings as caravan guards for the Conroy and Sons. Surprisingly, they not only survived a mid-eighth century eruption of the Firmont but also endured the sixth known wreckage of the privateer vessel known as the Nightrunner. The have successfully destroyed at least two of Tiras' Gates, both of which served as holes in the Translocation Ban that was invoked with the Miracle of Rebirth.
Their journey to fame left them with many enemies and they are wanted by numerous organizations. The Free Militia and Azermathian Alliance in Rathgar both have warrants for their capture - dead or alive - the former for company's alleged involvement in an explosion at the Jendredi Amphitheater and the latter for wanton assault on a hapless guild member. The Holy Legion of Light believes them complicit in the escape of a criminal mage and has issued orders for their immediate arrest. They have been exiled from Tully's Tundra by the Tribe of the Winter Wolf after murdering three helpless people and their immortal souls have been claimed by Mayve Snowbound, the Winter Queen.
Surprisingly, they have managed to make friendships with a number of organizations including the Order of Shar'iish'ta, who's seemingly eternal advisor Verazsuuth tasked them with the destruction of gates. Other allies have included the Aran'fantarhyme emeritus Ver'sheli Roen'shai who helped guide them to the discovery of Veracous and the Francis Starrin's 3rd Expeditionary Force.
