Baldric Loganborne
Incarcerated as an early teen youth in Logan after revealing his powers to save a dozen trapped miners, Baldric has long hated the anti-arcane establishment in Azermathia. Given his age and circumstances around his crime, the townsfolk held him in chains for a moon and then exiled him (instead of burning him at the stake). What they thought a kindness, however, nearly turned into a death sentence. Alone in the Jasper Mountains, he nearly starved before being captured again, this time by Goblin. Impressed with his skill and potential, the tribe's shaman took him in as an apprentice and Baldric spent his formative late teens living in uncivilized squalor.
He has spent the years since this unusual apprenticeship traveling Azermathia. Using countless names and nearly as many disguises, he has sown trouble and lived off the labors of others, always eluding the authorities. While he rarely stays long, he often visits the same community more than once over the years. Reports have him once arriving in Haverston as a garish Warwickian noble and twice appearing in Drakkar as supplicant to Anderi. He was last seen in Rathgar, using his talents to tell fortunes under the guise of Kayla's faithful.
Thin as a rail and vaguely resembling a weasel, Baldric has spent the last decade travelling Azermathia, surviving by his wits and loose conscience. A known practitioner of magic, he uses his natural charm and arcane talents to stay ahead of the authorities.
