Jasper Mountains
Named for the "J"-shape that the mountains made on early maps ("Jasper" is the name for the letter in Yatian, they wrap around the south and east of the Hinterlands, marking the end of civilization. Though not particularly tall or rugged they have, nonetheless have formed a natural border to colonization efforts of Azermathia as it is impossible to bring wagons through them and travel around bring one through Warwick. Populated with ample populations deer, big cats, and black bears, the lack of human and demi-human influence is evident in its pristine waters and stands of old growth trees. The exception of course, is the area around Logan. Indeed it was the discovery of Adamantine there that still has trappers and prospectors exploring the rest of range.
