Lake Havers
Small and shallow, this lake rests in the foothills south of Rathgar and once was home to summer cottages for the city's wealthiest residents. After they abandoned their homes, however, this source of the River Gryphon supported a poor village that marks the northernmost border of the Hinterlands. The lake itself is small and muddy and while some fish make it their home, they are not plentiful enough to support any sort of industry. Ducks, however, love the reedy banks and flock to the lake every winter as they seek to escape the cold in parts north.
