River Gryphon
With its source an idyllic lake in the rolling hills of the northeastern Clay Steppes, on who's shores sit the once picturesque village of Haverston, the River Gryphon makes its way southeast through the @Eastin a short and furious journey before joining the Redstone River at Gryphon's Crossing. Its depth and furry after the rainy season making crossing it impossible until the hot summer suns have drained it of water. Even in these drier months most sections are too deep for horses and cattle to cross without swimming. Though some sections may be narrow enough for this attempt, the great crocodiles living below its surface make it a foolish proposition.
