Grey Vale
There are as many maps of this Azermathian valley as there are tales told about it in the dark taverns of Rathgar. Each map, like each, tale, wildly different and more spectacular than the last. Some claim it to be an idyllic paradise, crystal blue waters feeding a lush explosion of floral color. Others describe a horrible, burnt land ruled by a race of dragon-like beings that while they walk on two-legs like a man are more bestial that the great wyrms many claim rule the vale. There are even tales of ancient ruins, a city from another age full of splendors and magics that belie even the grandest of wonders. To be fair to all the cartographers and bards that paint maps and spin tales of the vale, there are few, if any, first hand witnesses to the whatever lays beyond the Grey Peaks, leaving much of the art and the tale to imagination.
