A decorated Colonel in the Imperial Legion and the commander of the Eldorian Legion - 3rd Expeditionary Force, Starrin has huge hands and billowing, knotted gray beard. His hair spills out wildly from a three cornered hat that was fashionable in the mid-Seventy Century and four evenly spaced scars run across his forehead, the reminders of a white bear attack. At least it was a small bear, he tells those who will listen over a mug, pointing to the massive head hanging in the common room of Fort Starrin. Charged with mapping Forsythe's Point and anything else of interest he can find in the Frozen Wastes, the Colonel takes is quick to scold those who underestimate the power of Chetria here in the north. He also is quick to forgive with a broad smile and hearty laugh. His many, a dozen of whom witnessed his scuffle with the bear, all volunteered for this mission and would following him to ends of Tarien.A veteran legionnaire, the gray haired and well scarred Colonel Starrin has a thirst for adventure and the unknown. With a love of big game hunting, cartography, and a disdain for civilization, he leads the 3rd Expeditionary Legion in their five year mission to explore and map the Frozen North.
