Fort Starrin
Little more than 6 foot tall wall of hewn logs surrounding four of buildings, Fort Starrin is the northernmost outpost of humanity on Tarien. A small patch of dirt and grass in the center hosts a tall pole bearing flags of both Eldoria and the empire's 3rd Expeditionary Force, which is stationed there. Each building resembles its walls, simple logs and mud with dirt floors and cover only the barest of essentials - barracks, common room, stables, and forge. Small patches for potatoes, barley, and other essential foods sit outside its walls and supplement venison shot by their patrols and fish caught in their twin Zennonaize longboats. Still, the men and women of the Fort Starrin make it a lively place between boisterous laughter, good natured insults, and bawdy songs as they go about their business of mapping the Moosewood and exploring the Frozen Wastes.
