Scrawny. That's how his commanding officer, Lieutenant Aida, describes Birdlegs. Keep in mind she's Dharjan! Despite his lack of bulk, Birdlegs has proven his worth to the Eldorian Legion - 3rd Expeditionary Force on dozens of occasions since enlisting and travelling north to Fort Starrin as part of the unit's reinforcements after their first winter. A natural scout, he blends into the shadows, moving like a cat through the pines of the Moosewood. His red curls can be seen every morning, leading the rest of the unit on a their morning run and, with the exception of one morning following a disastrous drinking contest he had with Captain Sameer the Beardless, he's never finished anywhere other than first. And that one lost didn't really count since the captain carried him the whole way.
Scrawny, red haired, and freckled, Birdlegs is an unlikely soldier. Still, he is the second best scout in the 3rd Expeditionary Legion and by far the fastest runner. He has proved his worth to Colonel Starrin on numerous occasions since joining as a new recruit after their first winter in the Frozen North.
