Central Midasfjall
Central Midasfjall refers to the region of Midasfjall considered to be in the middle of the continent. It is made up of four major territories, the lawless The Badlands to the east, the frigid dwarven mountain ranges in the north, The Brightgreen Isle: a verdant green woodland home to the elves in the south west, and the grassy plains of the Human Kingdom of Illargos which dominates the region.

Geography
Forests
- The Arbor - The Arbor is located south of The Highpeak Range and north of The Arborside Lake, it is a cheerful and vibrant forest home to the halfling people.
- Darkvale Forest - Darkvale Forest is located north of Pinemarch and west of The Highpeak Range. It is a cold, lonely forest full of tall silver pine trees and small scraggly winter scrub which is covered in frost. The Forlorn Forest - The Forlorn Forest is located to the east of The Windpeak Range and north of the active volcanic fields. It is a gloomy forest sat in the shade of the mountains and is home to the secretive forest gnomes.
- Twinleaf Forest - Twinleaf Forest is located on The Brightgreen Isle, the woodland realm of the elves of Central Midasfjall. It is a magically suffused forest, where the elves have bent nature to suit their needs, fashioning trees into homes for their people and living off the fruits that they bear. The fauna of the forest is plentiful and not as timid as in other forests as elves for the most part don’t hunt them.
Mountain Ranges
- The Highpeak Range - The Highpeak Range dominates the northern region of Central Midasfjall and consists of mountains that rise so high their peaks are lost in the clouds.
- The Windpeak Range - The Windpeak Range is located in the south of Central Midasfjall. The high speed winds which whip through the peaks of these mountains are what they were named for. The peaks are home to the dragonborn clans of Central Midasfjall who content with the dangers of the high winds and the monsters which crawl forth from within the bowels of the mountains on a regular basis.
- Mount Vulkanlund - Mount Vulkanlund is located in the southeastern edge of the Central Midasfjall region. The volcano has yet to erupt in earnest, but its presence has formed volcanic fields which are devoid of most forms of life with the exception of a few species of plants and creatures that are adapted to survive in air thick with soot and sulfurous fumes, which the volcano regularly spits out.
Lakes
- The Arborside Lake - The Arborside Lake is located south of The Highpeak Range and east of The Arbor. It is a vast lake which is fed by the mountain rivers of The Highpeak Range and is teeming with aquatic life.
Seas
- The Azure Sea - The Azure Sea makes up for most of the area in the southwest region of Central Midasfjall. The inner sea to the east of The Brightgreen Isle is far calmer than the typically fickle waters of the outer sea to the west.
- The Whitewater Sea - The Whitewater Sea hugs the eastern shore of Central Midasfjall. The sea is named for the foamy deposit you can find all along the eastern shore after a storm.
Wetlands
- Hagclaw Bog - Hagclaw Bog is located in the south of Central Midasfjall and is surrounded on all sides by the waters of The Azure Sea. It is said that the bog used to be a grand forest teeming with flora and fauna but is now a dark and evil place, twisted by corrupting magic and entirely hostile to wayward travelers.
