The Highpeak Range
The Highpeak range is the mountain range located in the north of Central Midasfjall, it is a vast range of mountains with maze-like valley floors and steep craggy slopes and at their tallest points the peaks of the Highpeak range are lost in the clouds. The Highpeak range is home to the Dwarven clans Stronghammer on the eastern side and Goldbrace to the west. The Dwarves of clan Stronghammer carved their home out of the mountain itself and their capital of Volun’Kaer is actually built inside a huge cavern deep within the mountain. The mountain peaks rise the further north you go and become capped with snow; these are significantly more dangerous to travel than the southern part of the range which has a far warmer climate and less aggressive creatures.
