The Windpeak Range
The Windpeak range is located in the south of Central Midasfjall, the peaks of these mountains do not rise as high as The Highpeak Range but are prone to fierce gale force winds for which the range is named. The Windpeak Range is an incredibly dangerous area to travel not only on the mountain passes where high speed winds threaten to tear you from you path and cast you down to the valley floors below, nor is it the danger of rockslides tumbling down the steep mountainside to crush you from above, the true danger lies below deep within the heart of the mountain. Below the Windpeak Range is a twisting maze of tunnels and caverns known as The Underdark. Monsters of many kinds make their homes in the upper levels of the Underdark and frequently make their way up or out of the mountain to hunt for unfortunate prey. Even so this mountain range is home to a number of races; The Dragonborn clans inhabit the tops of Windpeak range, calling the blustering peaks their tribal homes while Rock Gnomes make the foothills at the base of the range their home.
