Twinleaf Forest
Twinleaf Forest can be found on The Brightgreen Isle and covers the majority of the small island. The forest is suffused with fey magic, thought to originate from the inhabitants of The Brightgreen Isle; the elves, living in harmony with the flora and fauna of the island. The elves have bent nature to suit their needs, growing trees into homes for their people and living off the fruits that they bear. The fauna of the forest is plentiful and not as timid as in other forests as elves for the most part don’t hunt them, this fact has positive and negative connotations because Twinleaf Forest is not absent of predators which must hunt to survive. The forest is never without light even on the darkest of nights due to the presence of luminous plants and fireflies which dart between them collecting their phosphorescent pollen, this phenomena creates a surreal effect of vivid dancing lights of all hues floating through the forest which is breathtaking to behold.
Geography
Twinleaf Forest spans the length of The Brightgreen Isle and covers almost all of the surface of the island. The trees of the forest are similar to that of The Arbor with their tall trunks and wide canopies which still seem to let in light to the lower levels somehow. There are no established paths through the forest, instead the elves navigate by following the twisting game trails until they are close enough to their destination to pick their way through the underbrush of the forest.
