History
In 1016, the first humans to visit this region, lead by an ambitious nobleman by the name of Illargo Volnarios, migrated north into Central Midasfjall past the volcanic fields and entered the south east of what is now The Kingdom of Illargos. They made their way north through the Forlorn Forest and the foothills east of The Arborside Lake, until they came to The Arbor; the home of the halflings. Aided by the halflings dwelling in The Arbor the humans were guided to the plains southwest of the bright forestland whereupon they stayed, building first a small settlement which slowly grew into the city of Illiad. By 1023, the humans had transformed the small settlement into a small scale city and small groups of explorers had begun to venture outwards from the city to discover their neighbours. The humans discovered a small island off shore inhabited by elves and in 1026 the humans and halflings entered a formal alliance which founded The Kingdom of Illargos.
