Temple District

The Temple District of Gathetoken is an area of just over 4 hectares at the heart of the city.It includes the Great Market of the Temple of Token which is one hectare in size and edged by covered porticos. It is crossed by the North Road which passes through the district from the Bridge in the south to the Coral Gate in the north. The River Road (which heads upriver) procedes west from the Temple, and the Forest Road and the Sea Road procede East, passing north and south of the Temple before passing out of the District towards their respective gates.

There are some permanent traders in the district (including the Rope Walk behind the Temple) but most of the district is religious or residential.
