Galisea
Aeilla: The Aeillan Region in south-central Galisea is one of the most developed regions, and one of its cradles of civilization. Aeilla is home to the Aeillan Successor states, with Cyrenica serving as its northernmost frontier. This area is heavily cultivated and developed with high rates of population density, and urbanization, particularly near rivers, the coast, and in mountain passes in the case of Cyrenica. A political hotbed, and home of ancient civilizations leaves it rife with opportunities for would be adventurers.
Southwest Galisea: The region of southwest Galisea is a relative backwater compared to the rest of the continental south. Consisting of Gallaca, Elleyrica, Nimeara, and Merdia. These territories, except Nabaria are generally heavily cultivated, though political instability and comparative lack of commerce has slowed down the urbanization of the region. It is home to tense conflict, and high rates of banditry.
Northwest Galisea: Northwest Galisea long stood as a bastion of dwarven and giant civilization in ancient years, with humans and halflings arriving only fairly recently. The region is relative cold, with a lot of rocky soil that makes most of the region, barring Erigan and parts of Tiefen relatively underpopulated. This land is known for its potential to explore the remains of giantish civilization before their retreat.
Xīnguó: The easternmost part of the Galisean continent, home to Guandao, Bei Shan, Okunokan, and Kethvar, as well as parts of Terruk-Mal. It is a densely populated region, with a relatively extensive history of at least human and dwarven settlement with Dragonborn, having migrated from the west being relative newcomers to the region.
The Terruk Steppe: The Terruk Steppe is the heartland of the Galisean Interior, though it was formerly contested by a number of goblinoid and humanoid peoples, the orcish Ikh khaantuls of Terruk-Mal has seized control of most of the steppe, and even subjugated other goblinoids in the bordering mountain ranges, and even to the coast of the Great Eastern Ocean. Much of the region is underpopulated, though its borderlands, and several stops along the major trade route that passes through the steppe are relatively more civilized.
The Shield of Pojanaa: The northernomost reaches of western Galisea, the Shield of Pohjanaa, is home to giants primarily in the icy north, but also hardy communities of dwarves and even humans in this region. The ancient communities of giants, are sparse, but in their hands lay the keys to many ancient magical arts lost in most other places of Galisea.
The Dala Ice Plains: Composed of the northeastern tundras and icy wastes, as well as frozen mountains surrounding the frozen Great Drake Bay. Much of this territory to competing giant clans, though a small organized state, Dala Dava has managed to cling to the northernmost coast.
