Dwarven Kingdoms of Cyrenica and Volgeberg fight in a vicious conflict over control of the Nabari Plateau. Over the course of decades of fighting both nations are devastated. Cyrenica claims a nominal victory when the Kingdom of Volgeberg falls to revolution, turning inward as the Volgiers fight over the fate of their own nation, leaving the Cyrenians to take the whole of the Nabari Plateau.

Volger Kings had long held lands both north and south of the core Volgier Mountains they called home. While the Nordernvolgen Rige was treated with relative restraint and autonomy, largely due to cultural and historical ties, which meant direct influence was limited, the Volgenreik ruled Nabari realms personally.
