The Har-De-Har Joke Shop - 404 Fish Row

Run by Wilbur and Edna Tugendhaft along with help from their nine-year old daughter Tracy. If you have a need for dribble glasses, itching powder, silly putty, whoopee cushions, rubber spiders, or just good ol' fashioned Groucho glasses, then the Har-De-Har has what you're looking for. This month they have a sale on the amazingly popular chattering teeth - break the ice at parties!   The shop is open Sunday-Friday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., but it is always closed before sunset on Friday. The Tugendhafts can be found every Saturday afternoon at the Beth Shalom synagogue.   The Har-De-Har is openly integrated and welcomes anyone in who is looking for a good laugh and to spend some money.   The Tugendhafts live above the shop in a well kept and orderly house along with their two cats, Abraham (Wilbur's cat) and Able Lawson (Tracy's cat).   Abraham and Able Lawson are decidedly Jewish Domestic Shorthairs who both have a serious and studious nature which hides the fact that the two are notorious practical jokers. They are rather iconoclastic in that neither of them worships or honors Bast, desiring not to be involved with any of that "verkakte Egyptian shtopn."
