Mushnik's Florist - 413 Fish Row
Mushnik's Florist (also known as Mushnik's Flower Shop and Mushnik & Son) is a flower shop run by penny-pinching Gravis Mushnick. The shop is staffed by himself and two employees. Located as it is on Fish Row, the rundown shop gets little business selling mostly carnations and cheap funeral arrangements, but Gravis still sells a few corsages & boutonnieres during prom season.
Mushnik's Florist is open Sunday-Friday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., but is always closed before sunset on Friday as Gravis is a scrupulous follower of the Shabbos laws and can be found every Saturday afternoon at the Beth Shalom synagogue.
About two weeks ago a large banner began being displayed vertically in the front window announcing in large letters "NOW FOR SALE" creating a good deal of gossip amongst the Fish Row residents and regulars.
