Mildred Hill works at New Jerusalem Edison in a primarily customer-facing role. She helps customers open accounts with the company and takes payments from existing customers. Any complaints, though, are referred on to other members of staff, usually her manager. Unbeknownst to the other members of staff, Mildred spends some of her time off at Fenner's Road House, where she may be more open to answering questions.
