Whew, another night used. I guess I forgot to sleep again, ah well. I should help Maki open up before I pick up a few last minute things today. Ugg, I'm going to have some tea to try to wake up a bit. @&#%* hot stupid tea! Oh, Kniana, Lily, and Leo are already here. That save on me having to try to find them later. Seems that they came to set up a payment plan for while we're traveling to and from Brentwood, sounds pretty fair given the time it takes. Even Eval came by talking about a weird dream? Oh, seems that he had another vision like I did. Except the masked man had his bow and quiver and asked why he killed us in a forest grotto with a black sun and white sky with a black tear running down his face? mask? Strange that he mentioned all of us that were in the library save for RRRoshin. Eval said it might be related to Asmodeus, the black dragon and his dark magics. He was forbidden by the council of dragons from his black magic he uses to influence others into doing his biddings even going so far as to break their morals to bend to his will... Strangle seems that his dream lines up with my visions. This masked man, I don't think that he like doing whatever he his doing...
 
Seems like this dream has shaken Eval a bit, but he still is eager to continue to do this task from RRRoshin. Hell, he even wants to get us hired out on caravan duty to Brentwood. Maki even offered to hire us for a big Snaggletooth shipment for 5gp a night for a 17 day trip to Brentwood then another 17 out to Inkindi! Sweet gold in same damn good time for the distance. Mentioned the blue noodle as the mount, I know I've heard mention of the night deliveries over the years but I've never thought to ask. I've always been too busy with the GOW to take any of the long trips. Tempting as the gold is, turns out that Kniana lives outta her cart. I'd hate to leave Bessy behind for both her sake and the sake of the poor fool that thinks it's a good idea to mess with her. Lilly also brought an... interesting... potion to Maki's attention. She claims to have found it in an ally... really? Seems to be a dragon's breath with a little.... difference to it. Made Maki a bit nervous after seeing the symbol, me as well. I told her it was worth about 600gp or up to 14-1500 to some one less trained. She wanted to put it toward her payment of the immovable grapple, but Maki sells not buys and I can make my own whenever I need. I told her her best bet is to keep it, but now that I think about it selling it to that Twitchy Tom might have been better...
 
Seems like Eval got a lead from Maki as to one caravan to look into working with, says that them winning the tournament should be credentials enough. I'll take him by since I have to head that way to pickup some tea for me and some logs for Bessy for the road. I ended up picking up 3.5 pounds of black tea and almost as much sugar. Eval offered to share a pound that he has, ha! I would blow through that in no time. I gotta keep my energy up on the road for my work. Ended up overpaying the guy, but anything under a gold is marginal for the sums that us Snaggletooth deal with. After that I had Eval help me with my bag to get the logs for Bessy. Partly to save on trips back and forth, and partly to hide from the beetle so she doesn't know about the treats. He really doesn't understand magics does he? Just a bag of holding... She really likes the fruit wood for the sweetness, and I know she will just love the Applewood I got for her.
 
By the time we finished that we arrived close to the west gate and entered the travel agency. Real nice place, uses the same type of magic as my cart. We all got signed up on the next caravan and even have a few Clan Dire vets to watch over us. I think it was like 5 carts and 20ish people? Apparently fey have been roaming out of Leshraka scaring some travelers. Eh, looks like we'll have the chance to stop out at the flower forest and the blinkdog prairie. I almost lost it when Lily suddenly puffed up at the mention, heh scaredy cat. Kniana showed up again just in time to finish paperwork, people more valuable than the cargo don't make me laugh. Maki appeared after that, spooked Eval haha. Turna out he wanted to show us the blue noodle anyway and grabbed Eval's hand. Led us straight to the Brotherhood's hidden area, I wish I could memorize the look on Eval's blue face when Maki walked him right into the phasewall, priceless. We ended up walking for 5-6 minutes to get to the back room. Maki unlocked a door that led into a dim terrarium type room. Nicely warm, kinda damp fresh swamp air. Maki pulled out a metal pipe whistle and called Gina over. Out of the dimness a behir slithers over; long, blue, and crackling with electric energy. Really neat to finally see the noodle really cool to see the glimmer of blue energy moving under it's skin. A little zappy to the touch, the furred ones got hilariously puffy from petting her. Now it finally clicks as to why the Cobalt kobolds don't like us. We use on of the fallen blues. A cousin, so to speak, of dragonkin. Well, Maki says that Gina likes blueberries....

maki showed up after paperwork and kneeiana showed up to show us the blue noodle, maki leads eval into a wall to get to a loooonnnnggg back corridor, door leads to a damp freash swamp warm air terrarium room. maki calls Gina over, a Behir. can see light move arounds it's skin. cousin to the blue dragons, a fallen of the blue dragons, dragon kin. makes cobalt kobolds mad, gina likes the blueberries.
