Tel was able to scry where the others were in the realm. For such a time differential, we were pretty close behind. After we took a bit of time sneaking toward them, Tel "said" that we were close and some pathway was closing. We both rush outta stealth past a gnarly looking tree that had collapsed on a section of the wall. Tel "said" something about riddles? We made it through the gap JUST before a bunch of vines grew up and around the opening sealing it shut. I immediately start trying to convince the group to give me one or more of the necklaces and was only met with blank stares until Tel gave me his telepathy stone. Apparently in my haste I didn't realize that we couldn't actually talk in this realm. I continue my rather frantic plead for the necklaces.
I told them of the happenings. Of the camp attack, of Maki's visit, of Gina's death, and eventually of RRRoshin's message. After a bit of pleading I think that they get the whole idea of who should we trust. My work with them seemed to let them put their trust in me. I knew that it would pay off with this group. Well, Skrel handed me the Ruby necklace pretty readily and that was the minimum I was looking for. Surprisingly, Kniana readily took out a few trinkets and handed me her Bag of Concealment. I know how the bag works with her being the only one able to get into the "true" pouch at least until her death... As a show of faith, and a bit of panicked thinking, I asked her to put the other 2 necklaces we had into the bag. Keeping these and getting them to Maki and RRRoshin or perhaps Naan is now my best option.
Eval wanted to talk to Tel after Kniana handed me the bag. He just started trying to "talk" while I had Tel's bead. I just rolled my eyes and passed his stone back. I'm not sure why entirely, but it seems like his enchanted book was taking notes the entire time our group was talking. I hope it was more of a description thing then being able to hear our thoughts. That would raise concerns to deal with later... After a little more discussion, they had Skrel use my Dimension Door to get Tel and I back to the other side of the wall and closer toward the exit. We popped outta tree about halfway toward the exit by my estimation. I would have thought that Tel would have wanted the story of them and their infiltration, but I guess he had more concern with safety at this point. Which was funny considering where we were. Well, It was one thing to have three skilled individuals with a necklace a piece, but now one artificer without supplies has to get them to where they need to go....
